Avatar f tn I also have had this issue for months now, very heavy, clear, waterlike discharge. I have ovarian cysts as well and have come to the conclusion that's its the cyst fluid that is leaking. However, it happens to me at all diferent times during the month with no pattern. It comes in very heavy and soaks through my clothes and even through a tampon if I have one on. Very frustrating and unpredictable. I am not on birth control but was for many years.
6745164 tn?1391806591 Hello, There are several reasons why a woman have delayed menstruation and this could be due to unhealthy diet, stress (emotional or physical), sudden weight gain or loss, caffeine, alcohol, and smoking. Gynecological conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and uterine cysts or polyps, can also bring about alteration in menstrual cycle. However, pregnancy is still the most common cause of delayed or missed period.

Avatar m tn I went to my GYNO and they seemed unconcerned about my story, but they did make me get an abdominal ultrasound which did show me to have 2 ovarian cysts both 2cm in diameter. They said to watch and wait. I still have slimey discharge without blood now, but it has yellow/cloudy stuff mixed in. It doesn't smell foul, but almost sweet/salty? I also have no pain. Sometimes lower back aches but thats it. Is this typical for ovarian cysts? Or could I have an infected cut inside me?
Avatar f tn And a constant strong metallic smell even when there was no discharge. After I got two painful ovarian cysts, and about ten other unpleasant and painful symptoms/side effects, I had it removed. I'm still suffering a lot of my endo symptoms, and a lot of the newer symptoms/side effects since removal two weeks ago.
Avatar f tn Hello everyone. I’ve been having weird discharge for months now. It started as watery and mucous and then red, black and brown - very gross! I have this daily now - mainly browny colour. I had a transvaginal u/s and was told I have a 4.5 cm ovarian cyst which is what will be causing the bleeding? Does anyone know if this sounds normal?
Avatar f tn please can someone shed some light on my problem.... i'm really sooo stressed!! for the past 3 months or so, i've not had a 'proper period', just a very watery discharge, pale brown in colour. There has been the odd occasion where i have bled but it has only lasted a hour or two then the loss has just been the watery pale brown discharge again. I don't have any pain or cramping. Last wednesday i was sitting at the table and I thought I had wet myself and it was uncontrolable.
Avatar n tn When I have ovarian cysts, they cause the same pain you described and cause constipation and sometimes affect urination. When my varian cysts burst, i get a pain and pressure that travels down to my rectum and the pain will stay for a few hours and then finally go away slowly.. I’m sadly used to the pain as i get it almost every month now but the first time sent me to the ER.
Avatar f tn I am 53 and have gone through the menopause. Over the last few weeks, I have not felt quite 'right' down below. I feel pelvic pain (like what used to be period pains), and have a watery discharge sometimes mixed with a very light brown discharge and even noticed a couple of times a small spot of bright red blood. I can only describe the feeling as like having a period but no period, and feels very 'watery wet' down below.
Avatar f tn And could this be a cyst? And recently I am having increased clear and watery discharge especially when I bend over. It feels like a pee.
Avatar n tn Is there a link between cervic cancer and ovarian cyst/cancer. Im asking this because i was told lately now that the doctor has discover a growth in my ovary after the operation of removing my womb last year. I was told that the problem was aslo affecting the ovary ,so the ovary was suppossed to be removed when they remove the womb. Is there a link between this ? If not what does all this mean.
Avatar m tn but I think I ovulated last june 10 because there are lots of white watery discharge and a little bit of blood when i wipe myself but until now, my period is not yet coming. What could be the possible cause of this? I've been through a lot of stress this past months. Thank you for your answer.
Avatar f tn I have pain in my vagina and stomach and whenever I pee I have white clear watery discharge coming out after , it also burns and I’ve never had sex
Avatar f tn I am 27 years old and just recently I was diagnosed of having bilateral ovarian cysts. It was detected when my doctor recommends for a whole abdominal ultrasound. I had sharp pain in the morning and was relieved with fart or poo. I may recur during the day but was persistent in two weeks. My doctor suspected for gastrointestinal problem since I also had gas problems. I was not relieved with the prescribed medicine thats why an ultrasound was done.
136986 tn?1232399830 I'm 16 and have been getting ovarian cysts since I was 13. I was rushed to the E.R when they thought I had appendicitis, but it was a cyst. I get numerous cysts each month, most of them burst which cause a great deal of pain. Lately my bowels have been weird. There's a lot of rumbling in my stomach, and I can feel everything moving around. I go a lot, but its normal. I've been on the gassy side too. Yesterday my stomach was killing in my pelvic area, to the right of my left hip.
Avatar f tn I had a ultrasound afterwards which showed I still had a thick layer of the wall on my uterus and also lots of cysts on both ovaries. This came as a suprise because I have 3 children and I always thought with that many cysts, fertility could be a problem!! Anyway, after the hemorrhage, my abdomin remained swollen and quite hard and I still lose the discharge even though I take tranexamic acid, mefenamic acid and norethisterone tablets.
Avatar f tn For the next couple months I still had the same watery discharge on and off, sometimes there would be a lot of it. It was clear and very thin just like water with no bad smell/color or anything. Then in mid September I started having pelvic pains, ranging from an allover ache, to some shooting & stabbing pains. I also have had mild endometriosis for years, and have also dealt with ovarian cysts occasionally, so I thought that was probably all it was.
Avatar f tn Super heavy bleeding, clots that should have a birth certificate and about 3-5 days of light to moderate watery discharge after a 7-10 day period. The discharge is clear to slightly yellow, slightly sticky like maybe serous fluid, no odor. I don't have the constipation but check on the left side pelvic and back pain intermittently throughout the cycle, that gets much stronger during the flow. Add to this spotting between periods and very short 20 day cycle.
Avatar f tn The pain, an ovarian cyst can provide. But the bleeding? I've had a lot of ovarian cysts in my day and never once did any of them bleed. Bleeding like a period (or a little less) sounds like a progesterone drop for whatever reason. If the op's natural hormone levels shifted slightly downward, that could have caused a not-enough-progesterone situation that has caused the bleeding.
Avatar f tn They can form anywhere in the body. Ovarian cysts (sists) form in or on the ovaries. The most common type of ovarian cyst is a functional cyst. Functional cysts often form during the menstrual cycle. The two types are: Follicle cysts. These cysts form when the sac doesn't break open to release the egg. Then the sac keeps growing. This type of cyst most often goes away in 1 to 3 months. Corpus luteum cysts. These cysts form if the sac doesn't dissolve.
Avatar f tn Have a cervical polyp. She ordered internal US. Found small ovarian cysts and fluid in cul de sac. I also was checked for UTI and kidney infections. No problems. Normal CBC. Have no idea what to think except that I have to feel better soon. Do I schedule an appointment with a obgyn or just wait it out and take pain meds. Don't want to panic but I am not feeling any better and people are starting to comment on my weight loss and dark circles. Any advice would be helpful.
Avatar n tn Common things being common, fibroids, which are benign muscle growths of the wall of the uterus, can give you pain and heavy bleeding. Ovarian cysts can be related to ovulation, or benign growths, endometriosis and so on. To sort that out, usually repeat scans are obtained over 3 to 6 months to see dynamically how the cysts come and go. Depending on your age, birth contorl pills are commonly tried to control heavy bleeding and pain.
Avatar f tn I have problems with my menstruation cycle now. Usually I have irregular flows. But it is my first time to miss my period for more than a month now. Last June 11-16 I had a light period/ spotting. And now I have increased clear and watery discharge. I don't think I'm pregnant because I do not have symptoms. I also felt a huge lump on my left lower abdomen. It feels bigger than the right side. Could this be ovarian cyst or cancer? Please help me.
Avatar m tn And who knows, there are probably more besides. Talk to the doctor, not all cysts (even ovarian cysts) form from too much estrogen, or anything of the sort.
Avatar n tn Hi I am 40 year old who has started having longer and heavier periods for about 1 year. Blood is very thin and watery, very heavy with clots. Pap was normal, had U/s showed bilateral Ovarian cysts, 2 fibroids and a small fluid collection in the pelvic cul-de-sac. I have lots of bloating, gas constipation, and pressure to urinate all day. My mother had uterine cancer at age 29 and had a hysterectomy. Do you think i could have cancer?
Avatar f tn I'm not a Dr so I can't answer your question, but I feel your doing what you need to have done by going to see your gyn.
