Avatar f tn Thanks cheeky13, that is exactually what my gyno told me too. It's been 7 months since my molar pregnancy and D&C and my HcG level have been at 0 for 3 months. When I went in for my surgery, I too was 4.5 months pregnant and I lost 800mls of blood. The gyno said that I need to stay on birth control for a year just because it was a full molar pregnancy.
Avatar f tn I had a complete molar pregnancy the beginning of last year. I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts and endometrosis when I was 15 years old and placed on birth control. I have had 5 surgeries to remove the cysts, some measuring anywhere from 1x2 to 6x8 inches. Over the past two years the cysts have been getting worse, they are coming more frequently and more painfully.
Avatar n tn She was told that 1 in 10000 have a partial molar pregnancy and she has been told that ovarian cancer in a women of 35 is also very rare. Please help .
Avatar n tn I think possibliy you mean ovarian cysts instead of ovarian fibriods as fibriods are assoicated with the Uterus and ovarian cysts are associated with the ovaries.
944360 tn?1245559776 Im 11 weeks pregnant and when i went to my 1st doctors appointment the doctor said that since i had a molar pregnancy my last pregnancy i need to see a specialist because molar pregnancies are cancerous. is that true??
Avatar n tn There is one kind of cyst that can give a positive pregnancy test, but it's really rare!! If you've taken tests before while having ovarian cysts and the result was negative, then I'm pretty positive you're positive!!
Avatar f tn its when the wrong number of chromesomes come together and there are abnormalities in the cells that grow to form the placenta, there are two types, a complete molar and a partial molar, in a complete molar there is no mothers chromesomes so the fathers ones are duplicated, there is no embryo, amniotic sack or normal placenta, instead the placenta forms a mass of cysts that look like a bunch of grapes..
1148191 tn?1271817646 I ovulated around the 1st of March, for a week after that I had dull cramping in my left side and than 7 days later i started getting what felt like period cramps. I went to the doctors and come to find out I have a cyst on my ovary, my question is I still think I might be pregnant, just how common are ovarian cysts in early pregnancy and is it possible that if I'm having pregnancy symptoms that I could still be pregnant.
Avatar f tn I had a huge cyst on my ovary in the beginning of my pregnancy they told me they were normal during pregnancy and that aren't harmful they actually feed the baby..
Avatar f tn It makes NO difference if he ejaculates or not, you can still get pregnant. Take a pregnancy test with first morning urine, and you need to start using condoms and birth control until you're ready for children.
545669 tn?1214492031 its now three years after having an operation for cysts and have not mensurated and i wonder whether i am going to have kids or am so worried.
Avatar f tn Not only did the doc have to laser off the endometriosis, he also lanced several ovarian cysts, found 2 vaginal hernias, and discovered I have a septum in my uterus. He told me I couldnt conceive and planned a hysterectomy for 6 months later. Im only 22 (21 at that time). DEVASTATING. July 2013 I conceived and am now 22wks :) just dont think about it. Let the idea go and dont expect it.
Avatar n tn I ended up taking 4 pregnancy test and all were negative, so we thought I might have an ectopic pregnancy, so I went and took an ultrasound and found out that I have a cyst on my ovaries and fibroids on my uterus and all they prescribed me was birth control pills with progesterone. I will start taking them Sun. but I still have not had a period, could something else be wrong...
Avatar f tn I'm about a week late, today I took a test. It come up with one really dark line and the other is really faint. I've been having server pains in my ovaries (I have ovarian cysts). Does anyone know what the pain is from and is that test a negative?
Avatar f tn thenn tell me which medicine is used in pcos patients to regulate ovulation,,,what are the side effects of clomid???
654396 tn?1237508912 1) ovarian cysts are pretty common during the early stages of pregnancy and in the vast majority of cases are benign. Cysts usually "go away" on after a few weeks but if the dont, the doctor might consider options but only if the cysts are large (usually 5-6 cm) or cause you pain 2) its possible, but there are other reasons for multiple cysts too 3) it would be unlikely, but not impossible 4) not sure about this one. When is your next doctors appointment?
Avatar f tn I have ovarian cysts and 2cm isn't that bad, but it also won't give you a false positive. My little ovaries are riddled with cysts, but the two times I've taken a pregnancy test and had them come back positive were because I was pregnant. Congratulations!
Avatar f tn They did ultrasound after ultrasound and found out I had an molar pregnancy. I went in for surgery in Janurary being 4.5 months pregnant with an HcG level of 70 000. My gyneocologist put me on depo so I wouldnt get pregnant again. Everything was fine for the first few weeks until I started puking every day. I went back in the doctors and they told me my HcG level was going up so something didn't go right (possibly pregnancy).
Avatar f tn Ovarian cysts mostly are not treated during pregnancy unless they’re large enough to cause pregnancy complications. Large ovarian cysts measuring 6 centimeters or more are removed surgically preferably during the second trimester and that too through laparoscopic surgery. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor.
Avatar f tn I have gained around 10 lbs in the past month, my stomach is bloated, breasts are swollen, cravings, ovary pain, frequent urination, irritability, vomiting, frequent migraines............ I have had problems with ovarian cysts before and now only have 1 ovary. What is wrong with me??
Avatar f tn Quite commonly you'll get a cyst on the follicle from which the egg was released during ovulation. I had one on my left ovary in the very beginning of my pregnancy, so the doctor knows that I ovulated from the left side. Not sure the size of mine, but I have heard it can cause some issues if it is really large. If it's "normal" size and from ovulation, it will typically just go away on it's own. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
Avatar f tn My husband and I have been trying for some time so I am getting really excited. Now, I have been reading online that pelvic pain is a symptom of ovarian cysts and that ovarian cysts can make a pregnacy test positive even if the woman isn't pregnant. Does anyone know anything about this? I am really hoping I am pregnant but after reading all that I am starting to feel discouraged. Please help. Thanks.

Avatar f tn Good afternoon. I just stumbled across this site after googling ‘ovarian cysts‘. I wondered if anyone out there has ever been in my (worrying) situation. I am 27 years old, a mummy to a beautiful 2 year old and 12 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I had an emergency scan around 6 weeks into this pregnancy due to pain on my right side. My GP feared an ectopic pregnancy. To my relief baby was fine. However, an 8cm side was found on my right ovary with a daughter cyst inside.
Avatar f tn Any mom's have experiences with ovarian cysts during pregnancy? I haven't been diagnosed with an ultrasound yet but with my signs and symptoms I'm pretty sure I have one. I get stabbing pain in the same spot, near my right ovary a few times each day with certain movements and activities. 5 weeks tomorrow but I had the pain long before I was pregnant. From what I read they're fairly normal and insignificant?
