Avatar n tn t have much anxiety but am emotionally more or less flat, feel sleepy all the time and am obsessive about my problem. Has homeopathy worked for anyone in the long run and can anyone give hope that I will get out of this rut?
Avatar m tn Homeopathy is not a medical science, so you cannot have a MD in Homeopathy. As far as I can tell, he never attended any university and I think he just gave himself the MD title. As for his book, it is about Homeopathy, so as far as I am concerned, it may as well be fiction. If you believe in Homeopathy, that is your business. But if you try to recommend Homeopathy here to cure HBV, you will face opposition.
Avatar f tn Doctors were planning to start me on methotrexate but I decided to try homeopathy and my homeopathy doctor gave me Silicea 30 in the beginning and for a month I did not see any major changes but after that she repeated the medicine and in higher dose as well Silicea 200 (three doses) and I started to see big improvement in pain and lumps, lesions drained itself some formed the opening on the surface without surgical intervention and some just drained internally into the circulatory system.

Avatar n tn I am afraid that I have developed osteoarthritis in my hands, esp. in the thumb joint. I experience pain up to 5 on 1/10 scale, but not swelling. After I ride my bike my hands hurt for several days, maybe the handlebar is too big around. The symptoms developed shortly after I broke my wrist (Collies fracture) two years ago. I realize that if I have this problem it isn't going away. How do I keep the damage to a miminim? I use Ibuprofen for pain with fair results.
513154 tn?1340225289 I have a question about Osteoarthritis and the pain that comes with it. Last November I had 5, 6, and 7 upper vertebra fused together and feel so much better in that way BUT i can't take anti inflammatory medications for my Osteoarthritis, Tylenol doesn't even help a bit and non of the arthritis over the counter meds help either. My question is... is there a non narcotic pain medication that I can take every day? I am 45 years old and very healthy besides my arthritis. thank you!

Avatar f tn I have Osteoarthritis and it is getting worse. I taken Celebrex, Norco, Tramadol and Vicopren. None of these are working. I don't have insurance and go to a public health clinic. They don't seem to know what to do. Could you please advise me on what I can take that will help with the chronic pain and will be inexpensive.
Avatar f tn I've had mri's of my spine and shows osteoarthritis with bone spurs in cervical thoracic and lumbar. This was done in 2007 (i was 35), now i have this horrible tendonitis in both wrists and i'm on prednisone. Could this be related to the arthritis? i'm seeing an ortho but he doesn't know about the osteoarthritis (i was just rereading my reports and it jumped out at me). What should i expect with this diagnosis?
Avatar m tn i was also wondering about the osteoarthritis as my dr told me that i have severe degenerative osteoarthritis of the lower spine (I forgot the numbers), hips, left shoulder and both feet. I had major surgery last summer and mesh was used to attach part of my bowel to my spine. My dr figures that this may have jump-started the arthritis issues. Currently i have probs walking, bending and overall it hurts to be on my feet for more than 20 mins at a time.
Avatar m tn / I knew my condition was bad b/c of the amount of pain I am in but wasn't expecting that especially @ 32 with a 4 yr old and 7 month old!! Anyways, he adviced pain meds and synvisc-one injections until we couldn't control the pain enough. I tried the injections. I won't lie the are a bit painful. My right one was just uncomfortable. The left one hurt way worse. I have no idea why but it even swelled up and I had to stay off it about 24 hours b/c of all the fluid on it.
Avatar m tn You should ask your question in the Alternative Therapries forum regarding homeopathy. http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Alternative-Therapies-/show/685?camp=msc&personal_page_id=862156 Can't tell you if homeopathy is better than placebos nor if it includes any active ingredients at extreme dilutions. Homeopathy is not supported by science therefore the redirection to the Alternatives Therapies forum with higher chances of having people with experiences in homeopathic remedies.
Avatar f tn many people suggested that this cant be cured without injections as i am afraid to take injection my parents have consulted a homeopathy doctor and right now i am taking those medicines. so i just wanted to know that is this dangerous?? because i was said it can lead to serious heart and kidney problems.. so is homeopathy treatment better? because it is said that this treatment works very slow . i want to continue homeopathy so i want your suggestion whom to consult??
4978800 tn?1361847735 68 My question is can homeopathy cure hashimotos? Does these lab reports suggest good prognosis? How can homeopathy reduce auto immune antibody? Can somebody explain mechanism? But third results show decline in T3 and T4 (gradual thyroid failure) but how is TSH in range?
Avatar f tn There is a large debate ongoing now on homeopathy right now. I mean very recently homeopathy received a severe blow and they are thinking about removing all homeopathic remedies from the pharmacies because they failed to prove that it was working better than a placebo. That being said consider that the placebo effect is strong and it could help you but since i just told you homeopathy is not working and is not supported by science I jus induced a nocebo effect.
Avatar f tn Homeopathy is not a remedy. The principle of homeopathy relies on the placebo effect.
1007653 tn?1259385967 Has anyone tried homeopathy or natrum muriaticum specifically?? what were your results and how long did it take for you to see results with them?
Avatar f tn France and India have done much research on homeopathy and have documented definite immune system reactions to homeopathic treatment, and the many patients of homeopathy will also differ with the above. In the US, homeopathy was the main form of medicine until the AMA got it banned toward the end of the 19th century, when the robber barons decided to throw their investment in with allopathic medicine.
5860291 tn?1379191935 My aunt says it really needs a very good homeopath and the right medicine in the exact right power and the right diet to cure a disease with homeopathy. As far as my reading up on homeopathy goes, homeopathy is like a vaccine. Body is exposed to minute amounts of similar particle creating the disease and the body cures itself. The body only needs minute doses in a calm environment (removing dietary exposures) to work intricately ( according to aunt).

1844975 tn?1318900277 Thanks for the suggestions! The whole Gluten-free revenue is still tricky for me because it seems like I'm allergic to every substitute and the substitute for that. But I will definitely take a look at the recipes. I'm not allergic to latex, thank goodness. I wouldn't want to add anything else onto my list. Besides food allergies I have environmental allergies like wasp, hornet and bee stings, grasses, trees and mold/pollen.
