My 12 year old female has had intermittent ache mid- and upper-thoracic region on the right side.
The ache has been present for the past three months.
She has no history of falls or accidents.
She started high school in January. Thoracic ache aggravated by studying at desk, relieved by rest.
Normal birth.
Childhood illnesses included chicken pox, pneumonia following measles, mild exercise induced asthma. Allergic to cats and bee stings.
She Plays soccer and volleyball.
What was there take on the swelling? Does it often ache as well? It is not uncommon, unfortunately, for swelling to occur after a fracture of the extremity like this to flare up long after. But please do have this checked and discuss with your doctor. I have osteoarthritis in my neck moderate and mild in lower back. Can and adjusment help? will they even do an adjustment me? i seem to be losing sensativity in my legs but dont know if iy du to oa in back nad neck.any help would be great. thank you.
I have osteoarthritis in my back and hips. The physiotherapist has given me exercises to help with the pain. Best thing is to keep active, if you can.
Hopefully the ortho will help, and a rheumatologist, like I have seen, will help you cope with the arthritis.
I did go to a walk-in clinic in early December, as this all seemed to start with a mild bronchitis which caused a lot of coughing and subsequent intercostal rib ache along with corresponding ache in the upper back. I thought that with the cough getting better the ache would go away soon after, and that physician confirmed that he thought this was what was causing the problem and "not to worry".
Fast forward another 7 weeks or so, and the ache is pretty much there all the time.
Hi everyone. I'm 13+5 weeks pregnant. I have really bad back ache and my tummy hurts too. It's not cramping it just aches. Does anyone else have this?
I didn't have back pain quite that early, just super tired. Between weeks 11-15 though, it was awful. My hips started to spread and it was always worse in the am. If you aren't cramping its probably just your body adjusting. Congrats and good luck!
I did! And omg it was awful. I changed my bras to a sports bra and started taking baths to relax my back. I'm 32 weeks and still dealing with back ache,.just different areas. Stretching, drinking water and warm baths...
Is back ache and twinges normal in early pregnancy (5weeks).
