I am 48 on Ortho TriCyclen for years. Friday morning I missed my day 13 pill, had sex on night of day 12, thursday night. Had sex on night of day 13,Friday. Took both day 13 & 14 on moringing of day 14, saturday. Should I be concern about pregnancy and if so can I take the over the counter plan B pill?

Ok, So im on my second pack of birthcontrol and I missed the three blue pills before Id hit the green pills. On the third day of the missed pill I was spotting which was when I was supposed to start anyway, but it was super light, so I took a pregnancy test, suprisingly it turned out negative. And So later that night my bf came in me, he knew all about everything, the next day I took two pills, & Ive been cramping since ive took those pills, and now Im feeling loss of appetite and nausea.

I am 3 days late starting a new pack of Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. I had a normal period on the last pack and didn't have sex during the last few pills, or at all since not starting my new pack. My question is, how do i take my new pack once i get them and have been off the pill for 3 or more days? And is there any risk that I could be pregnant even if i haven't had sex since before my period?

alright im on ortho tri cyclen....ive been on it for 11 months never missed a pill and never had any problems....untill this month I had bleeding exactly one week before my period it was very light pink only noticable when i wipe it happened for a day and a half.....so i wated for my period and it was a couple days late...not like it usually is ...its usually very flowing....but its brown /bright red.....and if i use a tampon it only fills a quarter of it....when usually im over flowing them....

I went to the gyno yesterday and was given Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo to help regulate my periods. I have not had a period since March 2008. My doc told me to begin my first month of pills on the Sunday following the beginning of my next period. Problem is, i don't have any idea when that could be. im on ortho tri cyclen lo and i have never missed a pill, but i rarely take it at the same time every day. my boyfriend never uses a condomn but he always pulls out to be safe....im not supposed to get my period for about another 2 weeks but recently ive been getting headaches a lot and there was a tiny bit of pink discharge when in underwear....am i being paranoid or is there a good possibilty im pregnant???

I missed the first three days of a new pack of Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. On the fourth day I took 2 pills, then 2 pills on the fifth day, like the directions said. Since then I have taken one pill a day, exactly on schedule, for the next three days. I had unprotected sex before that fourth day, and have had unprotected sex since starting the pills again (on days 6 and 7). I understand there is a risk of becoming pregnant if no backup method is used within those first seven days.

I been taking ortho tri-cyclen lo 1 yr and a half, this last pack i have missed some days and double up on the pill, i didn't take any of the green pills. didn't get my period and started a new pack and then had spotting on the first week of the pills. I think that the reason that you are having these symptoms are from the overload of the pill that you are on and taking packs back to back. I used to take ortho tri cyclen and I got pregnant on it due to using antibiotics but especially if you have been on the pill for quite a while it is unlikely that you are pregnant but it can happen. I would say that you would be safe to go ahead an take another test just to be safe. Best of luck!

if it keeps happening, your doc may have to change your pill to something with a different blend of hormones. Lower dose treatments like Ortho-Tri-Cyclen Lo are well known for that type of spotting.

OK I HAVE BEEN ON ORTHO TRI-CYCLEN LO FOR 5 MONTHS NOW...IN JANUARY I SWORE I WAS PREGNANT, IT IS NOW 13 WEEKS LATER AND I AM STARTING TO FORM THAT "LINEA NEGRA" THING, I MEASURED MY "FUNDAL HEIGHT" AND IT WAS 13 CM...I HAVE TAKEN SO MANY HPTS AND THEY ARE ALL NEGATIVE AND I HAVE TAKEN 2 BPTS ALSO NEGATIVE...MY QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS IS...IF YOU GET PREGNANT WHILE ONE THE PILL WILL YOUR PREGNANCY TEST COME BACK POSIVITE OR WILL THE COME BACK NEGATIVE?

I have just started taking birth control (ortho tri-cyclen)pill on June 17, 2007 and i started good on the first two days and then i started missing them so i doubled up for the next two days that i missed and now i have caught up and as you can tell that is a week and 2 days worth of pills (9 pills).

Last Thursday, I was in the last week of my Ortho Tri Cyclen active pills and one went down the sink! I took the next day's pill immediately and continued to take the pills in the pack. For Saturday's last active pill, I took one from another pack completely so I didn't miss one. Did I do the right thing? Would taking the pill from another pack and taking them technically out of order increase my chances of pregnancy? I started the next pack on schedule and had unprotected sex the next day.

my doctor switched me from ortho tri cyclen to marvelon because i was having break through bleeding. last month was the first month i was on marvelon and so far i had break through bleeding when i was on my third week and my period was supposed to be last week and it was extremely light (which is abnormal).i couldnt tell if i was still break through bleeding or actually on my period. the bleeding stopped yesterday and i started my pill today.

I'm also on ortho tri cyclen low. I was also a retard not thinking cause of me being on the pill I put a tampon in after sex. I can feel myself ovulating and today is day 7 after sex.

I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for 7 months and bled all of the time during periods, in between periods, etc. Once, I bled for 15 days. I ended up changing to Yasmin since the Lo was not enough hormones for me.
