I have been diagnosed with oral thrush. I wont get much into the details on how i got it but it was through a sexual encounter. So It has been around 3-4 weeks and I still having symptoms. First I was taking Nystatin then my Doctor prescribed me Fluconazole. While I was taking this medications I felt like it was only preventing it from getting worse and not actually addressing the root cause. Just a couple days ago I stopped taking Fluconazole and my tongue and lips again started to get swollen.
Been diagonosed with Oral thrush, annoying at the back of my tounge on the 'papllae vallatee' and was perscribed Nystan 4 times a day.
I take this at 7am - 12pm - 5pm & 10pm.
I started the course 4 days ago and about 25% of the thrush has gone, but the rest is persisting.
Any advice?
Three times i got a period containing big clots of blood (big lumps of jelly).Once i had all the pregnancy symptoms but when i took HPT it came -ve.After few days i had a period full of big clots.My doc gave me DUPHASTON but it didnt work. Again i had big lumps in my period.i went to another doc n she told me that i had some sort of infection and prescribed tablets for me and my husbands.
Can u tell me what infection is that?
Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.
He said to me that is it not a dermatophytosis but eczema. The rash was spreading very fast, he tried to give me oral fluconazole (Triflucan 200) during 2 weeks. The result was very good : more than half of my rash was cured. Itching had disappeared. The rash stopped to extend. The effect had begun at day 13-14 and until 6 weeks after the end of the treatement. After, they gave me itraconazole 200 (Sporanox) during 1 week and it worked very well.

It downed how far along you won't give you pill in your early pregnancy. Call your Dr and you will have to be seen that way it's on file I had them all the time with my first n it sucked.
It spread rapidly from my torso to my arms and legs, and my neck. I went to see a doctor, who prescribed Fluconazole (150mg, 1 capsule a week for 4 weeks). After a few days the lesions on my stomach began to fade, so I felt I was getting better. I have just taken my third Fluconazole pill. The bad news is that although some parts of my body are definitely better, new ringworm has appeared on my face in the last few days.
What should I do? I'm hoping to see the doctor again soon.
but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???
Usually a pharmacist is correct because they have a guideline that pops up that says do not take for these and they know medications so well. I work in a pharmacy, so I always ask them if it's safe to take anything during pregnancy because they know.
I've been to my doctor to see if they can help me and the gave me fluconazole 150mg. But I notice that I have these patches on my penis one under my foreskin and the other 3 under my my shaft. I've been tested only Positive for oral herpes, everything else was negative. The patches are shiny and itchy I don't know if I should go to a different doctor or a specialist.
He may instead prescribe a medication like Fluconazole which comes as a capsule. You can purchase Fluconazole 100mg (1 single dose) without a prescription from the pharmacist, but the doctor can prescribe a stronger and longer term use if this is required.
Get it seen to so that you can get the correct diagnose and the correct treatment as soon as possible. Avoid kissing and oral sex to avoid passing it on.
You may want to get an ultrasound to see if there is anything else going on. Also, Ectopic pregnancy could cause pain. For the oral yeast infection you can get a mouthwash from the doctor for treating yeast. A lot of the yeast is resistant to the antifungals that end in azole (like fluconazole) so if you try that and it doesn't work they can give you amphotericin B mouth wash. I would try the less strong one first before the Amphotericin B but just letting you know.
Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.

Hello ladies I look the pill Fluconazole because I think I have a yeast infection my OB gave me two Fluconazole pills last month but I only need one and I just took the other one today. Now I'm scared because I don't know if I could take this pill this late in my pregnancy I'm 39 week now. Have anyone ever took this pill after 35 weeks?
When you say "barely touched", what exactly does that mean? Did you grind on her for a few seconds unprotected? Did you penetrate her for a bit? Did your penis just graze her literally for a second? Did she perform oral? Did you perform oral on her?
I don't mean to sound rude, but if it was literally just grazing her for a second, then whatever it is didn't come from her, and she didn't perform oral, then there's really no way that whatever is happening came from her.
So a month ago I noticed my younger was completely coated in something white, so I went to my schools health office and they said it was an oral thrush infection. They gave my a swish anti fungal medicine which I have now run out of. There is still an overgrowth of yeast on my tongue though. I've never experienced this before last month. My dentist said because I don't feel any burning sensation and the coating isn't thick like cottage cheese, then it's nothing to worry about.

Hi, I am a 31 year old male and I took 2 doses of fluconazole to treat a yeast infection, I now have a rash coming up on the bottom of my feet only on the arches , ankles, wrist, hands, and arms. They are small flat head and raised like blisters but don't seem to be filled with fluid and doesn't really itch, can the fluconazole cause this skin reaction?

I am a 25 year old male, and generally in good health. It started months ago, both myself and my ex-partner got it at the same time, found some lists of reasons that may cause this and birth control pills she was using seemed a likely candidate. We treated with clotrimazole cream. She got better within a week and has not had any symptoms since then. In my case, the treatment seemed to work at first, but a few weeks after I stopped applying the cream it came back.
But i started getting dry eyes, floaters, vertigo, lightheadedness, back pain and weak legs… not all at once but in that order.. mri’s and ct are fine. Doctors have no idea what to do. I have heard that vestibular neuritis can be caused by HSV but how many more conditions can it cause. I am only mid 30’s!
The itching was slightly cured by the fluconazole so i think it might really be a fungal infection. Another gynecologist gave me an oral medicine ( I forgot the name) but i'm sure it wasn't Fluconazole then I had white creamy discharge again. After taking that medicine the itching was completely gone! But the skin is still light and no improvement.
Please note that I only had white creamy discharge when I took those Oral fungal medicine.
