Hey i'm from the UK and I bought a home HIV test online. It says that if they are CE approved then they are official. I took the test and it came back negative. I did this first as the clinic was full and I could not get an appointment to be tested however I'm still going to book into a clinic to double check. Is this right to do?

My doctor is being pretty weird and making me do igenex tests every single 2 months and doesn't prescribe any meds unless I do ... Thing is if I still have symptoms he should still treat so he's just being a money maker I think for now ?

The test was done by them. I know that I seem excessive but I read an article online (university of Virginia) about hep c delaying the window period for hiv. It also said that testing could take up to a year. This really made me panic. I know everyone says no risk but I got hep c by this.
I live in the UK and I was on sickness benefit and then Invalidity Benefit for depression. It is not just physical symptoms that can claim these benefits. Check with your doctor. It was a time ago, but I am sure they would still pay these benefits for mental illness as it would be discretion if they did not do this.
Ask your doctor to refer you to a psychologist, mine did. Why do they say you are fit for work if your doctor says you are unable to work due to depression?

Afew months ago I had sex with a lady in a Spanish country. She told me she was from Hungary. Anyways we had a one night stand and I was very drunk! Unsure if I used protection or not. The following 24 hours my bum hole was litrally itching so bad! It was like it was on fire! And then the following day to that I had red dots appear on my chest! These lasted for a week and went. But appeared 2 days after sex.

The headaches, lack of sleep (although I never seem tired), and ZERO motivation to do anything but breath seem to be the biggest hurdles right now. I'm sure depression will set in shortly as I've read...although I was always the optimistic person I'm hoping the depression phase is short lived. Not sure if that's what they consider PAWS or not but maybe it won't come at all! Hey that's an optimistic thought...I'm getting better.
Sharni, I feel so much for you, my GP is the opposite, to yours she...done blood test after blood test, sent me to Rhumatology, Hepatology and now on my way to endocrinology. I was rang at home the minute my results were available and I allready have an appointment with an endocrinologist. My GP firstly told me I had fybromyalgia and really worked hard to rule out any other possibilities, I always felt my doctor was working hard on my behalf.
