breastfeeding hurts sooo bad does anyone know any type of cream I can put on my nipples or something I cry every time I feed my babe >.

Breastfeeding, such a beautiful thing and a brilliant bonding time with your little one. But how the heck do i ease the pain of my breasts? Any suggestions??

Its really different for everyone... I know one woman who breast fed three babies a year a piece with implants and I know another that breast fed her first, got implants and couldn't breast feed her second or third...

Hello, I'm new here. This is my first pregnancy, and I am exactly 32 weeks. While my mom was pregnant, her breasts gained 3 cup sizes. Mine have not grown at all; they haven't even really been sore. They also are not producing any colostrum. I'm interested in trying breastfeeding, but I was wondering if my lack of growth may mean my body is not producing anything?

Well I also got sore breast too and I ended up feeling a little sick and feverish and dizzy. But you got to watch out if your breast or any part of your breast get red. If you breast get red call the doctor asap. But a hot bath, shower or massage should help abit. And as your breastfeeding continues it should get easier. Good luck!!! Some women get sore and tender and some dont. I am breastfeeding my 2nd right now and have been for the past week and a half and im almost done with being sore. Its only for a few seconds when they latch. Once your nipples get used to it it feels fine.

What I did to prepare my breast for breastfeeding was squeezing the nipple and playing with my breast. I also bought this cream that u apply onto the breast it's made for breastfeeding it helps heal your nipple you can use it during pregnancy as well. I know this one may be kinda weird but I asked my bf to suck on my nipple and I would already start to use the breast pump I know you won't get anything out of it but it helps prepare for the sensation and pain.

I am going to try to breast feed for as long as I can. The benefits are so great! Both of my sisters both have had a hard time breast feeding their kids (this is my first) so all my neices and nephews were bottle fed and they are just perfect. So, if I can wonderful if not that will be OK with me too.

If they are sore and super hard then they are still producing milk. I would always stand in a hot shower and massage my boobs, then would pump or try to feed. That's when I would get the most and it expressed much easier that way. Are you able to express any milk at all by hand?

If you can keep it up for a couple weeks your nipples will toughen up and it won't hurt. I'm breastfeeding my third child currently and I've had sore nipples with every one of them. I honestly dont know anyone who breastfed and didnt get sore nipples. After you nurse put lanolin on them or express a little milk, rub it on and then let them air dry.

Yeah, breastfeeding makes them feel worse. My left hurts, my right not so much. Idk why or where it came from.

Breastfeeding dont hurt. you might be sore for a few days but painful its not.

Commit to 6 weeks. First few weeks hurt really bad because you are both learning.There are amazing benefits your child will have just from the first 6 weeks. If you are still not comfortable after that I wouldn't feel guilty stopping you gave it plenty of time. Breastfeeding isn't for everyone and formula has really come a long way.
