Newborns can't watch TV. Newborns eyes can barely see. You have to be 12 inches in front of your baby for them to make you out. All they can see is dark color. So even if she puts your babybto watch TV they can't see anything just hear it and see the light from it.
You're incorrect. Omeprazole isn't a definitive treatment for peptic ulcers in that it won't correct the underlying problem, but it can alleviate a good deal of the pain associated with ulcers by reducing the amount of stomach acid (the actual substance causing the pain). Omeprazole and other PPIs can and do give ulcer patients a better quality of life while they heal.
I have GERD and a hiatal hernia and have been taking omeprazole twice a day every day for a few months (I had been on Prevacid for several years before the omeprazole but insurance won't cover it any more). If your main symptom is burping, I would try going off of the omeprazole and switching to gas-x or some other type of gas relief medicine. As long as you aren't having a lot of problems with heartburn or acid reflux, you would probably be fine to discontinue using the omeprazole.
Hi. I am taking omeprazole for laryngopharyngeal reflux for the past 2 days. I am supposed to take two pills daily, one before breakfast and one before dinner. Today, i started having this feeling that food is stuck in my chest and back of my throat but I don't have any problems swallowing. It is an uncomfortable feeling in my chest. I did not have this symptom prior to starting the drug. Is this a side effect of the drug?
Following a valve replacement and triple bypass I was discharged from Hospital with a number of drugs and a new one being Omeprazole. I did not know why it was prescribed but after a number of months taking it I decided after discussion with my Doctor to stop taking it. A few months later through the night I got this terrible chest pain on a scale of 1-10 I guess it was 7-8.
I am now on week six so this has dramatically changed my social life and I am now on 20mg of omeprazole. For the first month it started ok. I cut Alcohol, spicy food, all fizzy drinks, orange juice. Now I'm faced with crippling stomach pain, the belching is back and as worse as when I used to drink. I throw up bright yellow acidic sick and have diarohea frequently. I have to wait 2 weeks till my GP appointment. I'm still taking omeprazole, I'm exhausted and I need help.
Now due to the pregnancy, it seemed to worsen as I experience painful heartburns. My doctor recommends I take omeprazole along with antacids. I've been taking antacids because I know they don't bare side effects on pregnancy. I am not sure though with omeprazole. I'm scared. I am afraid it might harm the baby. Hey ladies! So this is my first pregnacy and im in need of some tips.. we ended up buying a rocking/musical bassinet for next to the bed for our little girls first few months. he said that if you go ahead and get one that rocks and plays music, youre set for all of your babies preferences. one of his boys like the rocking and the other liked the lullaby it played. that way also, im close to my baby without worrying about rolling onto her or her suffocating on a pillow/blanket.
is omeprazole a nercotic pain killer? i know some medications that may b addicting so i thought i would double check..also i had seen that u can take in an i.v is this true and if so how?
So, I have a bassinet in my room and and I plan on having my baby sleep in there in our room for the first while. My question is in the nighttime when the babys diaper needs changing did most mommies have these necessities to change them in your room or would you walk and change them on the change table in their room during the night.....??
I had my son on the 5th and he sleeps about 6 hours at night now. But he needs to be either swaddled or wrapped in his favorite blanket. We also need to hold him until be falls asleep or he will scream bloody murder until we pick him up. What I do to calm my little one is I lay down on the couch and put him on top of me with his head on my chest, and rub his back.He's out within minutes.
the different between newborn and size 1 is that one is longer in the front so I just fold it down like they would do if you had a premie to big for newborns. this was I know I will always use them up.

I have been prescribed omeprazole 20 mg daily, Miralax, Citrucel, Klonopin .5 mg daily (anxiety) and 1/2 a Lortab 5/500 (due to painful abdominal cramps 24/7). The SIBO was recently diagnosed a month ago by HBT (positive fructose intolerance) and small bowel series showed rapid transit. I was put on Xiafaxan 550 mg b.i.d. for a 10 day course. I began to put the weight back on I had lost which was 12 lbs.
