Sorry chest wheezing had colon check camera every thing fine last year but I feel the camera made me worse since I do suffer from disc problems right leg pain pelvic bone pain and tummy pain have weak bladder

I spoke to my Doctor who suggested going back on Omeprazole which I did. I have not had any problems since but I would like to stop taking it but would not like to go through a similar experience. Is acid reflux common after open heart surgery?

I'm 22 and a third year uni student and suffering fro a stomach issue.it began in June 2014 after having too much alcohol. I was admitted to hospital because I was throwing up cooked blood due to acid. As time went by I gradually became worse after a night out in the end I couldn't consume more than 2 units or alcohol without excessive belching, nausea and sickness. After tests for helicobacter which were inconclusive I decided to stop drinking.

is omeprazole a nercotic pain killer? i know some medications that may b addicting so i thought i would double check..also i had seen that u can take in an i.v is this true and if so how?

I keep forgetting to take my omeprazole dr 20 mg 30 minutes before meals, can I take it after the meal.

Hi since stopping Lexapro after 5 years and titrting down slowly..I have developed a chronic back/rib pain..CT scans show nothing, physio can't help can you please advise if back pain like this is a symptom of withdrawal and how long I have to suffer..panadeine forte does not help pain..

Now due to the pregnancy, it seemed to worsen as I experience painful heartburns. My doctor recommends I take omeprazole along with antacids. I've been taking antacids because I know they don't bare side effects on pregnancy. I am not sure though with omeprazole. I'm scared. I am afraid it might harm the baby. On Monday 12/13/2010 I had an upper endoscopy. Dr said I have gerd and hiatal hernia. Also took biopsies but I won't know the results of those until next week. Anyway since I've been hone from the hospital I've had excessive gas which I hear is normal from the air they pump in your stomach but yesterday I had the sensation of a knot in my throat and near my diaphragm and dizziness. This morning woke up with a violent case of diarrehea that woke me up after only 4 hours of sleep.

for the past almost 2 weeks when i eat i get god awful back pain in my upper back between my shoulder blades. food gives me bad nautia and extreamly bad diareaha so i went to the doc he said it was a virus. well its not any better, i now cant even drink gatorade. i have already had my appendix, galbladder, uterous and right ovary removed in previous surgerys this one is new to me. when i get up in the morning i feel GREAT up until i eat something and it doesnt seem to matter what i eat.

Hi. I am taking omeprazole for laryngopharyngeal reflux for the past 2 days. I am supposed to take two pills daily, one before breakfast and one before dinner. Today, i started having this feeling that food is stuck in my chest and back of my throat but I don't have any problems swallowing. It is an uncomfortable feeling in my chest. I did not have this symptom prior to starting the drug. Is this a side effect of the drug?

i have been having a pain in my upper back for about a month now. i have felt nausea in morings and dont feel like eating till the afternoon. these pains come and go whenever, for no reason. i would just like to get someones opinion oradvice please!!!

I'm 29 years old, with heart disease, a fib, and gerd. For years I've dealt with this issue, sometimes often, sometimes months apart. Last night I was awoken in severe pain around 3am. The pain is so intense it radiates into my back, up my throat into my jaw and head. It's excruciating pain only slightly helped by drinking ice cold water. I'll continuously keep burping, with an urge to throw up, an intense pressure that my stomach is pushing things up.

A few days ago my husband lifted somthing heavy and pulled a muscle in his chest ive took him to hospital and to see his own gp and he sed his hearts fine but he still has chest twinges and neck and back pain that will come and go an is really painfull can anybody help me with any advice please on what you thinks wrong or where the pains coming from as im worried tbh and am gratefull with any help I can get thankyou

Just to clarify it was the generic version of Prilosec.

A week later pain still constant but than as suddenly pain in belly button appeared and pain in shoulder gone. Than horrible pain in middle of chest and back between both shoulder blades after drinking a margarita and eating fried chicken which I hardly ever do.

No changes after a few weeks, I went back to the dr because I started to feel right side back pain. He referred me to a GI which is in two weeks. Has anyone had or heard of this issue? What are some things I should make sure the GI does or looks for?

Hello. About 10 months ago I started getting pain in my stomach. Since I was previously on a prescription anti inflammatory for tennis elbow my doctor thought it was a stomach ulcer. After a month of omeprazole I was no better and had a stool test for H.Pylori which came up negative. Since then I've been suffering in silence trying to figure out if I can solve the problem myself by changing my diet or taking over the counter medication but have had no luck.

So, I have been having a horrible burning pain in my stomach and no appetite, in addition to weight loss for 3 weeks. I decided to go to the ER on 1/23/17. The doctor asked me a checklist of questions and said I have gastritis, but did no exams. I was hesitant to take the omeprazole because he did no tests at all.

Post flare up the residual (slightly reduced pain) lingers. The back pain and tightness has been off and on constant for the past year. My GI has done elimination diets, ruled out CIBO, and ruled out ulcer. Hypothesis is GERD but I don’t believe this is the right diagnosis. I don’t have pain or burning in my throat or esophagus. I also take Omeprazole 2x daily. I’m a 30 year old female 122lbs and eat rather healthy and not overly fatty foods.

I have been experiencing chest pain in my left breast along with back and shoulder pain. It can sometimes last for days on end and is very painful and scary. I have gone to the emergency room twice, the first time I was having a full blown anxiety attack. I was kept there overnight on a heart monitor after having an ekg done. About a week later my mom took me back because i still had bad pain. Then they said i had IBS and an enlarged liver. So i went to a GI doctor, they took blood and did several test such as MRI a hydro scan, and they did a scope in my mouth. Everything came back good. It seems to be getting worse. I am always tired, in pain,have diariea i have nausa and get head achs alot. Its worse after i eat or when i lay down. I have even hard pain in my back around my kidneys for almost 3 months now.

I have had it for about 6 weeks now. i have had blood test done and and ultrasound- both coming back normal. I am so ill i find it difficult to drink water let alone eat and am rapidly losing wieght. i have been put on 20mg omeprazole a day and anti neasea pills but they havent made much of a difference. im going back to my GP on Monday to get a referal to a gastroenologist. I am also going to ask to try a different PPI.
