Avatar_f_tn In the meantime I've been on every heartburn and omeprazole out there. I started dexilant this summer and thought I saw brief relief, but to no avail it has quit helping my constant hunger like pains. I've had another upper GI scope to test for celiac and it came back fine. Blood tests for thyroid and liver came back fine as well.
Avatar_m_tn I got sick of it so I went to the doctor who checked my ears and said that it did look sore in there and perhaps I had an infection so they prescribed a low dose of amoxicillin. I took about 1/3 of the dose and stopped because the symptoms went away. I didnt like the side effects (bad stomach) so I stopped taking it since the vibrating had stopped. The vibrating came back though after a few days, and it became a constant sense of vibrating.
Avatar_n_tn When you take this medication make sure that you follow the directions as you should not be taking antacids or drinking milk, yogurt and taking vitamins for a few hours before and after taking the drug. There should be an instructions leaflet that came with your medicine, but if not, then contact and speak with the pharmacist. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory drug and the 800 dose is quite strong. This drug can upset the stomach and should be taken with or after food.

Avatar_f_tn doc told me to take my omeprazole every day for my acid reflux (which i haven't had any problems with in quite a while) because she thought my acid reflux might be causing all of this to be worse and making my asthma flare up. but now i wonder if the omeprazole (generic prilosec) is preventing absorbtion of the avelox. although, i don't take them together. i make sure i don't take anything 4 hrs after taking the avelox. nothing except a nectarine.
Avatar_f_tn 2- all negative 3 months after last exposure, experienced testicular pain and swelling. Diagnosed as epydidmitis. Prescribed Cipro 10 days follows by Doxycycline for 10 days. Reduced pain & swelling, but still has not completely resolved. Had urethra swan for NGU & gonorrhea/ chlamydia urine tests. All still negative. In past week, experienced soreness in wrists and elbows. Petachiae (now gone) and acne like bump on hand present. Could this be disseminated gonorrhea infection?
Avatar_m_tn My symptoms had slightly improved in June, but I still was far from normal. To treat my SIBO I was first on Doxycycline. First few days I would get nasty nauseous and puke about an hour after taking (even following all instructions full glass water, sit up for at least hour, etc). I figured out the right timing I needed to avoid that.
Avatar_m_tn Result = negative Until this day I still have a very sore throat and swallowing problems. I got medication for the reflux, omeprazole. It has been almost 16 weeks since my unprotected oral misstep. Could this be an STD? and I know this isn’t the right forum but could my Chemotherapy from 3 years ago alter the HIV results?
Avatar_n_tn ( low platelet count) aftetr five days she was doing better so they sent her home . They put her on doxycycline, prednisone, and famotidine. she did well for about 2 weeks she had her enrgy back she was her self Till she started throwing up and had watery stool. so we took her back put her back in the vet which she stay five more days did all kinds of test and every thing came back normal .
Avatar_f_tn So they told me to take zantac and omeprazole. Took these for 2 weeks and i felt perfectly fine. Then the day after i ran out of zantac, my abdomen got super achey and would have extremely painful spasms every time i moved or took a deep breath. Talking made my stomach hurt so bad that i couldnt talk without crying. Went back to ER. They said they still thought it was an ulcer and told me to take zantac and omeprazole again. Didnt really help. I lost 13 pounds without trying.
Avatar_n_tn Long story short- I found a doctor who finally treated me for Lymes with Doxycycline and I low and behold, I got better and consequently--no more orange tongue (it's been a year since treatment). The orange, I believe to likely have been from one of one of the bacteria I had contracted from a tick bite. As I grew more and more ill, my skin under tones also changed to orangish/copper like color (enough to have had to change the colors of my makeup).
Avatar_m_tn As far as the antacids, at this point I have no choice. Current plan is to try and keep a 2-3 hour buffer between taking riba and any sort of antacid. Hep C treatment plus reflux equals PITA. Thanks for the info on vitamin B12. Are there any tests to tell if you're deficient? I think I'll mention the B12 shot to my doc next time I see him.
507875_tn?1423163861 Start medrol and doxycycline (sp?) tomorrow as well as PIO and Progestrone inserts (yuck)!!! My transfer is scheduled for Thursday, August 7th!!! I can't wait!!! Okay, so last night me and DH had a spat. He seems to think that I spend too much time on the computer. I told him that I am stressed out because of everything going on (issues with my mom, fertility, work, etc) and when I am online line talking to you gals or playing word games (my fav) it relaxes me...
Avatar_m_tn It just strated outta the blue I went to take a deep breath and i couldnt get that last bit of hair to satisfy the breath and this whole vicious cycle started. After that for about 2 years i was constantly taking deep breaths and not able to get a satisfied breath. I WAS CONSTANTLY YAWNING>SIGNING and TAKIN UNSATISFIED DEEP BREATH ALL DAY LONG. I had reached the point when i was staying home in my bed just hoping i would die so it would stop. After 2 years or so it seemed to just go away.
Avatar_f_tn Hi I was diagnosed with moderately severe erosive esophagitis and chronic mild gastritis a month ago via endoscopy and biopsy. I have been on 40 mg omeprazole QAM for 4 and a half weeks and 300 mg ranitidine Qhs. I have no relief of my symptoms. Esophagus feels as something is stuck in it much of the time with sharp pains and burning in chest, arms and back much of the day as well. It doesn't matter if my stomach is empty or I have eaten.
Avatar_n_tn I hope some of the guys who were on this forum come back soon to give us an update. I've been on the doxycycline for a few days now and the vibrations and some sharp pains (almost like a needle touching your skin) have eased off. They seem to be getting better each day. Maybe it was in infection? I checked inside my urethral opening and noticed a small cut on the inside and it looked like some liquid (possibly blood) coming from it.
Avatar_m_tn i figured he must have a plan.she asked if i wanted her to call him and tell him to keep testing and i told her thats all right i can tell him since i had an appointment coming up.tested at 7 months still positive for nothing.hearing is starting to degrade eyesight diminishing.severe headache after long periods of physical activity muscle twitching ,muscle wasting ,numbness on side of face, burning feet ,sensitivity to loud noise .
Avatar_m_tn I have taken multiple STD panels for every STD HIV, syphilis, goon, chylmedia, hep, and herpes at 2 weeks, 6 weeks and 3 months all neg. I even followed up with an HIV and syphilis at 4.5 months and was neg. I did receive treatment for the possible bacterial infections STD given z pack, doxy, ofoflax, uribel and something for trich. My neuro said it's probably a unknown virus.
Avatar_f_tn i was diagnosed with severe inflamation of the duodenum after an endoscopy and given blood transfusion.i was discharged with omeprazole tablets.i just went for a colonoscopy last week and an endoscopy to see if it had healed up.everything was normal except that they found a small hiatus hernia and indications of anaemia.this internal shaking is really scaring me and i dont know what to do.
436516_tn?1382388265 A throat specialist went down with a scope and said everything was normal. My doctor diagnosed allergy or sinus problems, and possible asthma, and put me on antihistamines and an asthma inhaler. None of it worked. Then she put me on Claritin D and it seemed to work for at least a year. Then it came back again and she put me on a different brand of Claritin D-like medication. Nothin'. Then I was diagnosed with Acid Reflux. They put me on Prevacid which worked again, for about a year.
Avatar_n_tn I feel like my body's thermostat is broken and I'm constantly overheating. I've been taking Claritin and Benadryl but that doesn't seem to help at all. My doctor also gave me a prescription medicine called Atarax, which only makes me drowsy and doesn't help the itchy feeling. Any suggestions? Btw, I've taken blood tests to see if there is anything wrong but everything came out fine.
