But today I read that Omega 6 isn't that good as it could counter the effect of Omega 3 and induce inflammation. Now I"m wondering if I just spent 30$ for nothing. What do you think?

Avatar f tn before I started treating my Dr, had me taking omega 3-6-9 and vit D omega 1000 three times a day and D once. Finished treatment in march and still take the omega and d, didnt want me to stop. See him again in september for 6 month eot. I do see a hepatologist at a transplant ctr.

He and another employee said "1,000mg per day." When I arrived home their "triple strength" is only 900 mg??? I have bought others that have always been 1,000mg and that is what I have been taking. 739988 tn?1386672969 That was my post and my psychopharmocologist did almost try me on it so I can't say I've personally used it but it is in clinical practice as an anti-cholesterol agent used off label as a mood stabilizer in the United States. Remember technically a doctor can prescribe any medication for other purposes but usually a trained psychopharmocologist would be the one to know about FDA approved medications in use experimentally for other purposes.

I know that you can not be pregnant while on this medication but if you happen to become pregnant while taking it I know to stop it immediately. In order for cholesterol to stick, there has to be a sticking spot. Do you have a high level of inflammation in your body? There is a test for this. Do you have arthritis? It is great that you are eating no red meat. This will help a great deal. Do you eat lots of vegetables fresh and foods rich in omega 3?

I don't think they contain omega-3 but they contain a high level of omega-6 which is the lower of the omega's in fish but more important for blood vessels. There has been lots of research on peanuts and results have shown that they greatly reduce the risk of cardiac disease. They have other benefits too, it has been shown they reduce the risk of colon cancer.
