Avatar f tn I am a 34 year old female who just had her 3rd baby 3 1/2 months ago. I know my weight range and the low end is 105lbs. Before I was pregnant with this last baby, I weighed 142. I gained 18 lbs during pregnancy and shortly after went back down to 143. However, I constantly crave sugar, especially chocolate cake with chocolate icing. This sugar craving has been going on for the past 2 years or so. I always had a bit of a sweet tooth, but it has never been this bad!

Try eating 5 small meals a day and stay within 1600-1800 calories daily range. Try to eat a Heart Healthy diet which will give you the nutrients, vitamins and minerals your body needs, lose weight slowly, and help with possibly preventing future disease states.

Avatar f tn The slower you lose the weight, the better chance you will be able to maintain your weight loss. Eating 5-6 small meals a day is a good way to eat and it improves digestion. Recommend you eat something at the beginning of the day, even if it is a yogurt smoothie. If your smoothies have a full fruit serving, then it does count as 1 fruit and the same with V8. Suggest eating salads/vegetables instead of drinking V8 due to the increase value of fiber.

Avatar n tn i started dieting after she was six months. i lost 8 kg in 6 months after that weight loss is halted. i routinely use whole bread and skimmed milk, have cut off all sweets and processed food. take rice twice a week and occassional treat of any sweet. 30 min brisk walk or excercise on 5 days of week. i have no other medical condition like diabetes, hypertension or hypothyroidism. not taking any medicine except for occasional multivitamin or vitamin E.

Avatar f tn Walking for forty minutes on the incline is the best. It will not only help you loose weight but is one of the few exercises that actually tighten the stomach muscles! Recent research has shown that taking omega 3 on it's own whilst good for you does not assist with weight loss but taking omega 3 and exercising has been proven to assist in loosing weight. Exercise whilst assisting weight loss can also build muscle. Muscle being heavier than fat might mean no loss!

I've read in this forum that others have also had adverse reactions to taking this supplement. So I wanted to put this poll out to see how omega 3 affects you. The first time I suspected krill oil, which is supposed to be the best omega 3, I used the process of elimination. Still not believing it I did it a second and third time.
