I do remember reading somewhere that eating alot of nuts in your pregnancy can cause nut allergies but i dont know if this is true... it was on the internet.. I was never advised by my doctor to avoid them.. If its true though, my poor baby is screwed becasue I had peanut butter and almonds all through my pregnancy...
Avatar f tn I take one to fight babybrain. Omegas are stripped from myelin shealths during pregnancy and since they act as lubricant in the conduction of, essentially thoughts, our thought process is slowed. I didn't ask my doc about it yet but it does clear up fog in my brain.

Avatar f tn you know, I haven't been taking the Omega 3 since I got pregnant - they make me nauseous. I just take my prenatals daily. I try to eat healthy(doesn't always happen) but i do try. I didnt take any Omega 3 with my other kids and their fine, so oh well.

But stiffness isn't the same as inflammation, so whether this will help depends on why you're stiff.

Avatar f tn , whole grains,fruits and vegetables with adequate good quality protein and omega 3 oils.Vanaspati , margarine, bakery foods,processed/packaged foods, maida, white rice should be avoided.Sugar should be minimized.If you are diabetic, eat only water melon and papaya.Avoid root vegetables.Eat foods rich in potassium.Use low sodium salt in small quantity.Avoid normal salt. Doctors do not give anything that boosts the strength and immunity of a patient.They are dead against nutrition.
