No, it's not the Omega 6 that's in overabundance, it's GLA from evening primrose oil. However, you'll probably get better results for HDL by taking the Omega 3 product (I'm assuming you bought Nordic Naturals, an excellent brand). The one you've got is great for overall essential fatty acids, especially for women with hormone problems, but for cholesterol the Omega 3 oils are the best. These are found in fish oil, hemp oil, and flax oil primarily.
