I have already added fish oil supplement (human grade) I squeeze it out of the liquid capsule and the same for Vitamin E. First... I have read conflicting information about the types of Omegas some say you need 3 & 6, while others say not to Omega 6 because it can cause cancer to grow.

So, omega-3 is good at keeping control of omega-6. The best source of omega-3 is pure organic salmon oil. This must be given in the appropriate quantity (too much ould be avoided) - and you must give a canine Vitamin E capsulre every time you give salmon oil, because fish oils deplete vitamin E in the canine body.
Finally, let's talk about water ...
One more thing about tuna and any other regularly fed omega-3 products ... the omega-3 is very good, but unfortunately it also depletes Vitamin E in the canine body, so you must always supplement with Vitamin E when any high content omega-3 foods are being given (and particularly salmon oil, which is the highest omega-3 nourishment dogs are sometimes given).

Supplements are omega 3 fish oil, flaxseed oil, bone meal, and bran. It's always bothered me when someone would make her leg twitch (right rear) by petting her in the sensitive area. What brand of Omega 3's are you using? I have been taking just the Kroger brand Omega 3's with fish oil concentrate. Should I maybe look at the health food store for some that are especially for pregnancy? Thanks!
I do both....I have a number of dog food cook books....I have 4 furkids so I usually make recipes like Turkey loafs or turkey patties that go along way...There favorite snack is homemade blueberry muffins. (Also from a cookbook). I make a batch and freeze them..Pull out a few at a time. I eat them, too. They are yummy! :) Made with honey and such with no salt or any of that...I add Icelandic Salmon oil to their food, as it is an omega 3...

you know, I haven't been taking the Omega 3 since I got pregnant - they make me nauseous. I just take my prenatals daily. I try to eat healthy(doesn't always happen) but i do try. I didnt take any Omega 3 with my other kids and their fine, so oh well.
