olanzapine maximum dosage

please let me know if the dosage i am taking i.e. 1/4 of 20 fluoxetine and 5mg olanzapine combo and 3/4 lorazepam is high or low.

While I have not taken it, I know that a good deal of the antipsychotics out there, including olanzapine, can cause sedation. Antipsychotics can also be activating where they will cause insomnia if you take them before falling asleep. I'm sure there are people here who have taken it and experienced sedation.

there are other sites which mention the maximum dose of both. max for risperidone is 9 while for seroquel is 900. also based on DDD it's 80. when you say equivalence it isn't the drug content but the potency as far the need for the drug. seroquel brochure says 900 don't exceed it while risperidone 9. you see it's a homework i did i am not a pdoc to judge my conclusion but i tried to work out the ratio.

Last night I took my first olanzapine pill(5mg), for panic attacks and apparently I did some weird things in my sleep. My girlfriend said my legs were twitching, and sounded like I was choking when I was snoring. It only happened last night, and not this morning when I was sleeping. Will Olanzapine help with withdrawals from Oxycodone. I am down to 10mg of Oxy and it has been a fight for me.. I did wean myself off Hydrocodone which made me happy but then I got on oxy 30 mg and have reduced my dosage. Will this medicine help me.

when the doctor said 200 was the maximum he accepted that. He does seem to be doing well, but I am worried. what chance is there of his ever getting off of it, or at least onto a lower dose?

t be the medication tho I was taking NOTHING else but me and my GP saw those twitches and tremors alright! ) ..swapped to 1 x 5mg olanzapine for three weeks and now okay enough to Research, tremors decreased by 90% but packing on the weight despite regular exercise.With sedation I get my situation under control and my fears scuttle off far enough away for me to live outside of four walls...

the Shrink has put me on 10mg of Olazapine a day with the intent to push my dosage up to 20mg a day.this is defenatly helping with my sleep and moods.as for my DHC addiction i have fallen off the wagon a bit..i have been taking upto 1000mg a day..im hoping now that im on the Olanzapine it should help me cut down the DHC..if anyone has any advice i would love to hear from you.

On low dosages of mirtazapine, you can feel very sedated and foggy...when the dosage is increased slowly, this feeling diminishes. The usual dosage for mirtazapine is 30 mg. I hope you start feeling better soon and less spaced out....

I am about to switch from olanzapine to seroquel. Is it ok to just stop taking olanzapine and start taking seroquel? I am on a very low dose of olanzapine.
