Avatar m tn I don't know which topic to put this under because I have no idea what it is. I want to stress how important this is to resolve, as it's been affecting my life for a few years now. I am very self conscious and i have actually held back from going off to college just because of this. It affects my life tremendously. When I was about 16 years old I started to notice that my nose was getting oily. I always dabbed it off. It started to spread to my cheeks as time went on.

Avatar n tn Well I'm not so sure it would be seborrheic dermatitis because they are not flaky or white/yellow...they are more like slightly raised red dots...I also don't have oily skin at all...I just have annoying polka dots everywhere around my nose and down to my chin!
Avatar f tn It started off just barely noticeable, but now it goes out an inch from her nose. It is a little oily, it feels kind of bumpy, at first she tried Vaseline, and that kept it from spreading and flaking, but she stopped using that. She is now using Johnson's soothing naturals and it's not helping much either. I don't want to have to wait to get her into the dermatologist. What is a way that she can get rid of this irritation?
5931867 tn?1397526593 I bought a new foundation and I hope it covers most of my acne but anyways has anyone experience breaking out so much early in pregnancy. I have oily skin but I never broke out so much like maybe a pimple here and there but now I have a lot of tiny bumps(mostly on forehead), dark spots all around but mostly in cheek area. If anybody had bad acne during pregnancy what facial cleaner you used that cleared up your skin.
Avatar n tn HELP - just got a surgery on my nose, going under anesthesia, and my skin was completely clear when I went in for the surgery and until 4 days post-op I woke up and had a TERRIBLE breakout of little pimples, but some swollen ones all over my face (forehead, chin, cheeks, nose). The pimples are sore too. My skin also became so oily on my forehead. Has anyone ever experienced this? How did you treat it? Based on the pictures, what is my best form of treatment?
Avatar n tn This is happening on my entire nose, from the nose bone down the bridge to the nostrils. It’s all shedding skin, dry, scaly and not showing any signs of healing. My nose has thinned quite a bit and lost it’s firmness. The skin everywhere else on my face is normal but my nose is very irritated, dry and scaly and still peeling. I’ve tried different things; Vaseline, Cocnut Oil, Shea butter, vitamin C serum, sea buckthorn.

Avatar m tn I have very oily skin. My T-zone areas are especially oily. I've noticed that underneath my chin, my cheeks, around my nose and mouth, my skin produces a strong rancid cheese type smell. It's especially prominent after eating anything fried or greasy. As a result I have drastically stop consuming fried foods. The odor still remains though. Not matter how many times I wash my face, the odor is still there. My skin is oily but "clear.

Avatar f tn I also have very oily and dry skin. My face produces a lot of oil in a day; by midday my face is very oily and shiny, and I’ll need to wipe off the excess oil. And I notice a lot of dry flakey bits (skin or sebum) that will rub off at my problem areas. Avatar n tn I have a strange skin problem. Recently I have noticed tiny dots of liquid coming from the pores on my nose. It's barely noticable but I get quite paranoid about it and it's annoying with my make up. I'm pretty sure it's not sweat and I definitely don't have oily skin (I have eczema). What else could it be and how can I stop it? I have actually had a new foundation recently (17 sheer moisture) and it's since around that time I have noticed it happening.
