Mine was totally fine until I started my third trimester....now it's extremely oily and I have patches of flaky skin that are raw red itchy and very oily....does anyone have some clue as to what causes this and what will make it go away!!??
And as far as I heard applying dry products increase oil secretion from skin. So should I apply only oil control moisturizer or moisturizer and talc?
For talc I am thinking top use axe denim

Over all my skin type is oily. But till now what I have heard after a laser resurfacing moisturizer is must. Please help and let me knw that is use of mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream is good fpr post laser resurfacing treatment without moisturizer??????
I wash my face twice a day and after each wash I put on cerave moisturizer lotion. I have really oily skin and had medium/slightly severe acne. But pregnancy has kind of made my face a lot better.
I dont remember the last time i had a pimple let alone multiple. Now my skin is so oily and i can see blackheads on my chin and forehead. I stopped using my nightly washes bc of the chemicals. I currently use clean n clear for sensitive skin and cera ve lotion. I need something stronger but safe! Im willing to mix random things up at home if anyone has any good suggestions! Thank u!

Hello, 1 year after having a baby ,I started getting burning sensations on my face which have been going on now for 6 months . My skin also became very oily ( with large pores) and my eyes started to burn as well (crusty in the morning). I went to dermatologist who told me I have sensitive skin with some broken capillaries and prescribed metrogel , which did nothing for me.
I have combination skin, but it it very extreme. My nose, forehead and cheeks are extremely oily, whilst around my mouth and above my upper lip my skin is extremely dry. I don't know what to do to counter this problem. I use a mild facial cleanser twice a day and use a facial moisturizer once a day on my whole face and twice a day on the areas that are dry, but I am still encountering both problems of extreme oiliness and extreme dryness.
For the past month my skin is driving me crazy! My forarms have developed eczema type rash (very dry, red, cracked patches) my face is super oily and super dry at the same time! And my scalp is always itchy. What is this? Make it stop!

m confused, I recently started using this mild face wash and says it contains salycilic acid because after a long time my cheeks that are clear grew 1 pimple (days before that it started being oily and having small tiny skin tone bumps). my skin was better for 5 days then suddenly I started getting 3 pimples on my cheeks and now after they start healing new ones appear. Im confused whether or not a mild face fash is causing me to purge or am i just breaking out?
Yeah.. every skin is different... I'm dry skin.. && i use neutrogenas pink grapfruit... then after I washe'd my face i will use sea breeze sensitive skin astringent with a cotton ball... put it all over my face && neck... then a face lotion because I'm dry skin.. but of your skin is oily i guess you can skip to moisturizer in the end.. I rub coconut oil on my face and let it sit for a min or 2 and then wipe it off really well with a warm wet cloth.
The wash obviously cleanses the face but it also disturbes the skins natural ph so to restore that ph (which helps fight bacteria on the skin that causes pimples) you need to use the toner. Also the moisturizer may seem unnecessary if your skin is already oily but if your skin is not getting the moisture it needs, your body tells your oil producing skin cells to work overtime and produce more, therefore causing oily skin.
Do you just rub it on? Does it soak in or does your skin stay oily? Won't it make me break out?
I use bio oil. Not to sure if it is any good but my friend told me it was brilliant. It's very oily and doesn't seem to dry in for ages, i don't like using it because of that so what i have starting doing is actually putting some in the bath. My mother told me that she used baby oil or baby lotion. She had 5 kids and not one stretch mark. So maybe try the the bio oil in the bath and they some baby oil after your bath or baby lotion.
I bought a face scrubbing brush from sephoria kinda like the clerisonic one but its by hand its like $20 but worth it! Then when I get out the shower just apply a face moisturizer, I also live in colorado which is hella dry.
i used to have lots of acne all over my face at my teenage.now they have disappeared leaving my skin extremely oily and hypersensisitive.doc suggested me to use faceclin gel(clindamycin and nicotinamide) and cetaphil face wash.but rashes came out.even i am allergic to neutrogena products and sulpher compositions.my skin is loosing glow.pls suggest.
