For my inital treatment, while waiting for my first blood testresults, i was prescribed with Azithomycin (1mg single dose), Doxycline (7 days), Ofloxacin (7 days) and Rocephine. When the blood results came back 2 weeks later, it confirmed i had chamydia. Thereafter, my doctor prescribed for me another week of doxycline and 2 months of ofloxacin.

I just tested negative for Chlamydia but seem to have some other UTI that is being very stubborn.
ie - I have completed full courses of the following anti-biotics:
Amoxicillin
Zithromax (azithrmycin)
Doxycicline
Ofloxacin
Still have the same sypmtoms...

My wife and I have sex, with her giving me oral sex. Coincidentally, about 5-7 days later she starts to complain that her throat and ear are burning, and at the same time my symptoms return. I received a swab test again for STD and negative, and a urinalysis, which says I have no bacterial infection.
Afew years ago I was diagnosed with chlamydia trachoma and chronic prostatitis and then got treated for it but maybe 10 days ago I have started getting clear a discharge from my penis got more test and found out it was staph epidermidis.
at the moment using 200mg Ofloxacin every 12 hrs and erythromycin tc 400 for every 6 hrs its been 3 days but not much improvement recieved.

from all the antibiotics i finished and took, i find ofloxacin the most effective. is it safe to take ofloxacin again for 7 days, twice a day? or will the bacteria i have get immuned to it? im planning to go to the doc tomorrow and probably ask for a injection this time and std check up if they can.

Back in June I stupidly had unprotected vaginal\anal sex with a woman. After the encounter she told me she'd been treated for syphilis in the past but she thought I'd be fine. I've had numerous symptoms since then. I've been tested negative for chlamydia, herpes, gonorrhoea, HIV, Hep B and syphilis.
As I was deemed high risk I was treated for chlamydia and syphilis immediately.
As I am currently situated in China and am not too confident of the Chinese hospitals, I visited an International Medical Center where the doctor diagnosed a Chlamydia infection. There was only a urine sample test done and I was prescribed Ofloxacin. My itch and discharge cleared up after I was done with the medication, 4 x 100 mg tablets, 2 times daily for 5 days.
Chlamydia has never shown resistence to the macrolide antibiotics such as azithromycin nor the tetracylines such as doxycycline. Clindamycin has no effectiveness for treating Chlamydia. Cipro is iffy for both Chlamydia and Enterococcus infections. Ask your Doctor to be sure that the Enterococcus is not a resistent strain , as this is becoming more of a problem, especially here in the US. I hope you are well soon. Take care.
Upon reading through the forums related to STDs, found out that some folks were prescribed with ofloxacin. Without consulting a doctor, I am self medicating now after googling what's ofloxacin is for. 3 days ago I took 2 400mg and subsequently 200mg every 12 hours. So far, the irritation when I'm urinating and the tingling has subsided significantly. My question is, shall I still continue taking the ofloxacin until the 7th or 10th day from the day I started taking it?
I have a doctor friend who gave me a prophnlacsis OFLOXACIN 200mg twice a day for 5 days. Told me that there are no guarantees but it may somehow help.
What measures should i take now while waiting for the next step to ensure my wife and kids could not be infected if ever there was infection, and what test and how long do i have to wait to make sure it accurate.
