But my semen still looks green and very sticky gelly. Will it took a week before it turns white? Or should i take cefixime 400mg plus 1g azithromycin already?
What dosage is advised for the following medications in treatment of STDs Doxycycline (100mg) Cefixime (400mg) Azithromycin (250mg) Please help and which one of them is better
The symptom started worsening and I went to a doctor in England and he prescribed me Cipro for 5 days and Cefixime, of which, Cefixime was not available, so I had the Cipro course. He had also taken a urine sample, in which he found some blood as well Culture of 3 days came negative. STD Test at a local GUM clinic came out all negative. The symptom got better for few days only to come back when I took Azithro 1gm and still the symptoms remained. I took Cefixime 400mg and it got no better.

Dr Simran Thankyou for your response. Well, doctors put me on Ofloxacin (100mg three times a day) for two weeks and my symptoms came back just after finishing the treatment. After that i am on Cefixime (400mg twice a day) for 3 weeks and symptoms just go on and off. What could be the possible reason. In my background, i was having 3mm stone in my bladder which passed away with pain, and now somw tiny concretions have been seen in the collecting system.

Went back to the third clinic and they prescribed Cefixime and Erythromycin for me that should be taken for 14 days (Cefixime twice a day 200 mg each dose and Erythromycine 1 g twice a day). I also went to a public STD clinic that did a swab on me and told me that they could not find any Gonorreha, but they sent my urine sample to the lab. They also told me that I should not have a STD if this test came back negative. I though still got blood in my urine.
During mid December 2012 I noticed discharge from my penis. I visited a pharmacy on December 18 and was prescribed 200 mg of Tarivid Ofloxacin pills to be taken twice a day for ten days. I was told that this would take care of the infection, be it chlamydia, gonorrhea or both. Two weeks after I commenced treatment the symptoms had not disappeared so I visited a local clinic on January 2, 2013.

Arguably it was overkill to use both cefixime (Suprax) and ciprofloxacin to cover gonorrhea, but it wouldn't do any harm. My guess is that "avon" is azithromycin (trade name Zithromax); and indeed doxycycline for 7 days or azithromycin 1.0 g (single dose) are the two treatments of choice for NGU. (It is clear your doctor friend is very knowledgeable about STDs.
He then told me I need to go see a Urologist ASAP and he told me to start taking Ofloxacin. I then made an appointment with a Urologist. This Doctor told me to stop taking the Oflxacin and to let my symptoms come back and then go in for a urine analysis and a culture. He also had a x-ray of my Kidney’s ordered and a ultra sound of my bladder and kidneys. Both of those tests came back normal. My urine analysis came back with a high white blood cell count but the culture was negative.
