I would say wait a little and say something after you are about to show. UNLESSyou are in a work environment where people need to know for yours and baby's safety. For example, I am pregnant with me 2nd and I work in a pharmacy as a technician. My coworkers need to know because there are some drugs I can't handle for baby's safety. I'm only 8 weeks and they knew about 3 weeks ago. Just to take precautions!
I work in an office environment that was created for us in the basement of a lovely hotel. The space is nice and when I started I had a nice office with a window. I often work down here by myself, but by having a window, allowing natural sunlight to come in and fresh air, it helped a lot. There is no way you can escape the fumes and the overspray in the shop when you are in full production, approximately around 8 painters applying paint. While Iam working in my office which is around 50% of the time the fumes get so heavy that it shortens my breath and makes me very sick. I went to my pulmonologist and he had me take a CT scan with contrast. The results are as follows: Both lungs demonstrate diffuse emphysematous changes with hyperlucency.

This doesn't sound at all unsafe to me. There are two basic reasons why HIV is not transmitted in the environment. First, assuming HIV exists in the environment, the amount of virus that could have contact with susceptible cells would almost certainly be too low fro transmission to occur.
Well, I don't know the specifics of all of them but I DO know that there's something or another with at least cats called toxoplasmosis (that's prolly spelled incorrectly) that is a microscopic parasite that CAN be in their feces and you DON'T want to be exposed to that, altho it isn't what I would call common I don't think
Can anyone give me any tips for working? I work at McDonalds and still have to do heavy lifting and do just as much work as everyone else.. I also don't get to pee when I need to which is painful. Any tips on how I can get them to go a bit easier on me without people thinking I'm receiving special treatment?
I am 6 weeks pregnant and my work does not have a policy of moving me outside the lab while pregnant. I cannot leave work so I am forced to stay working in the lab. Some of the chemicals I work with are Chloroform, toluene, acetonitrile, dimethyl formamide and others. I do not use these chemicals on a daily basis but maybe once a week or so and I work under the hood with protective gloves.

Working in an anatomical pathology lab, there should be extreme safety protocols in place for employees and as a tech, you should be fully aware of them and follow them religiously. You mentioned taking off your mask but said nothing about your gloves. Please tell me you wear gloves

I live in a bad environment where my mom is always yelling and screaming and cussing and my older sister talks down on me and never having any privacy. 8 people living in a 3 bedroom house! Having to hear my mom talk **** about me and how i have a act like an adult, but she doesnt let me stay the night at my boyfriends house or move out. She wants me and my baby to sleep in a room with her my little sister and little brother. And wants me to bunk in a bed with my brother.
It seems to me that when they are receiving state aid help with this single mom trying very hard to be both parents and working diligently, that the daycare should have some interventions rather than removal. HELP
