I have been a pediatric dental assistant for over 8 years. we sedate 3-4 patients a day in our office(between 3 doctors). We use two medications to sedate our little ones. Chloral Hydrate and Vistaril is what we use. Age 1 to 10 years old. These medications are concious sedation meds. They have a very high index of safety because it is done based on a range of weights. Making it hard to over sed. Unless you just don't go by the guidelines.
The information I have is as follows and possibly PCI is contra-indicated and there are no guidelines by cardiac associations..

Usually hospitals offer tons of classes for new moms, labor and delivery and even classes for new dads! Call your hospital or go on their website and see if you can find anything (: as far as safety guidelines, I'm not sure of a website but as long as it's being sold in a store as a NEW product it had to pass the regulations otherwise that company would have a lot of legal issues on their hand lol.
It's actually 39, guidelines changed about a year ago for ACOG and March of Dimes standards of care. 37-38 weeks is "early term" and 39-41 is "full term" and much safer. Your doctor must not be up to date on the latest research and safety recommendations. I'd wonder what else your ob hasn't learned...yikes.
Hopefully and almost sure you will be UND at wk 12 but as long as the viral load is under 1000 guidelines say continue on to week 24 at which time you must be UND. If not game over.
Do you think your doctor is freaked out about the low platelets and doesn't feel you'll be able to continue? 19 is very low but I've seen people treat with 20's right through 48 weeks and platelets do bounce around.
The most unsafe practice was performing actively oral sex on another guy without a condom and WITHOUT him ejaculating. I know that the evaluations about safety in this case seem to vary depending from who you ask. I'm in week 2 of an 11 week dental assisting program and I just found out I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I don't know all the safety and health guidelines of being pregnant yet, but I have heard x-rays can cause problems or they have special ones for pregnant women. Since I know we will be practicing taking x rays on each other, do I need to let my teacher know so I can avoid any harmful activities or is most dental work safe during pregnancy (especially early pregnancy)?

I am sorry but it is a violation of our terms of use (guidelines) to give out tapering information. that has to be, and should be, done by a doctor to insure your safety.

I wouldn't be worried about catching HVC unless you poured a few buckets of sewerage over your head after you cut the outside of your nose and then rubbed it in as hard as you could.
I would be worried about what else you breathed in - there's a lot of man-flu in the drains plus more.

and now to kick me in the face I can't get the doctors office or the nst office to reschedule appts to make them coincide so I'm not make 1000 trips back and fourth and it wouldn't bother me some much but it's 45 mins away each time and that's one way ugh I'm telling you I just want to skip the appts and say the heck with it
so how are we supposed to know what generation of test they give us??? for example if i go to 3 different clinics its a possiblity they are using 2 different tests?? well that doesnt sound right to me whats the difference??

I have heard of this but had hoped that pain patients would be grandfathered in. Also the CDC guidelines were just that guidelines, not law. This is a nightmare for all pain patients and will force them out on to the streets for help.
