safety

Avatar f tn Of course it is. Low impact exercise is recommended throughout your pregnancy. Just don't try to push yourself to go further than you can realistically go. Your body won't try to expell your baby.
480448 tn?1426948538 I've posted a photo of the letter we received from the district outlining the changes to be put in place following the Sandy Hook tragedy. I apologize if it's hard to read, plus I edited out names for privacy purposes. I am actually shocked the district was so quick to implement these changes, and I'm pleased. I don't think the gun debate should have anything to do with what each school district decides to implement for their children's safety.
Avatar n tn I have been a pediatric dental assistant for over 8 years. we sedate 3-4 patients a day in our office(between 3 doctors). We use two medications to sedate our little ones. Chloral Hydrate and Vistaril is what we use. Age 1 to 10 years old. These medications are concious sedation meds. They have a very high index of safety because it is done based on a range of weights. Making it hard to over sed. Unless you just don't go by the guidelines.

11834218 tn?1423579165 They've been giving me a run around. My last normal period was the third week of November. Had a two day period the last week of December so guessing I'm between 6-8weeks. I had an appointment set for the 28th & was super excited to see & hear my baby! They called me today saying they had to reschedule me with a different doctor. February 10th :( just ruined my whole day!
Avatar f tn Do any of you ladies work at a desk all day while being pregnant? Did you get alot of pressure from sitting to long or did your Dr suggest you on early leave? I'm currently 4 1/2 months and I sit at a desk but I try to get up every 15 minutes to do a little walking but I'm just so uncomfortable with pressure I went to the E.R the other day and they just told me my baby loves to sit on my bladder...any suggestions??
427258 tn?1266445242 If you have a temperature it's really important that you take Tylenol to get it down for the baby's safety. But as with everything, ALWAYS consult your doc via phone (or, if your doc's office is as busy as mine, a nurse that works at his/her office will do) before taking something. I had a fever around 18 weeks and took Tylenol to reduce the fever - worked like a charm - and Sudafed because I literally could NOT breathe, I was miserable. I took the lowest dose.
Avatar f tn You can have at least 2 cups of coffee a day. They recommend to stay under 200 mg of caffeine. I drink coffee everyday. I try to drink decaf so I can have more (I drink 4-6 liters of water a day though) as for fish. It's healthy for you to eat fish like salmon, shrimp, tuna.. ect.

Avatar f tn Just a little update...Today has been very busy. Had an eye exam at 8:30am. with a very nice Dr. Grin accross from Dr. Oro's office. Had my eyes dialated and they stayed dialated most of the day. All looked well with the eyes. Went back over to Dr. Oro's office to have my nutritional consultation with Kim at 10:30. Grabbed some lunch and went over to have an MRI's done at 1:00pm. I had three MRI's done and was in that machine for well over 2 hours.

1675985 tn?1323719076 Where do you live? I know there are different, safety established options in both Canada and the US. I also suffered greatly from morning sickness in both of my pregnancies and understand how awful it can be. Can you call your doctor's office and express your concern and ask for a safety established option? Insist to speak with him/her today. I tried googling the drug but couldn't find anythign other than warnings against taking it while pregnant.
