I have been a pediatric dental assistant for over 8 years. we sedate 3-4 patients a day in our office(between 3 doctors). We use two medications to sedate our little ones. Chloral Hydrate and Vistaril is what we use. Age 1 to 10 years old. These medications are concious sedation meds. They have a very high index of safety because it is done based on a range of weights. Making it hard to over sed. Unless you just don't go by the guidelines.

they have also never called like that before to ask if i had an appt. i got really nervous, and called the office again, but the office is so busy all the time, that i could only leave a message to see if the dr/nurse could call me back. they didn't and i called again about an hour before the office closes. i told her that i need to talk to him today, but he never called back.

I took it upon myself to call my drs office and asked if they would prescribe me phenergan instead. Its really up to u if u want to take it or not. My brothers girlfriend was on zofran most her pregnancy and my niece was and is fine. My oldest sister was on zofran with both her children and my niece was born not breathing and my nephew had to have a blockage removed from his heart a month after being born. So I personally don't want to take any chances. Good luck whichever u choose.
I went to a dermatolgist in a pretty big office today and he treatd my molluscum contagiosum..well he never wore gloves threw the whole procedure he touched my penis and everything..I felt like this was weird after the procedure..Im worried that he might have soemthing(herpes or warts) from another patient before me and spread it to my penis..what are you suggestions on my worries?
When we originally went to the vet with problems on July 2nd, they tested her blood at the office. Her BUN was 127, ALT was 527, and her creatinine was 7.6. We were sent to the emergency animal clinic to have her started on an aggressive diuresis treatment for the holiday weekend. She had a urinalysis run at the emergency clinic as well, and I was told that she had a horrible UTI (for which she didn't give symptoms of until the day before).
