Did you make sure to give the pills (when you tried both ocella and lybrel) a few cycles to work? I know it's annoying, and in the mean time you have a life to contend with... But sometimes it takes a while for these things to work. It's weird that ocella (generic Yasmin, I think) would make you bleed, because that is usually one they give to women who have problems with breakthrough bleeding. How long did you try it before you quit?
I am currently on Ocella (generic for Yasmin), I have been on it for almost a month, I start the inactive pills tomorrow night. Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). My last period lasted for 3-4 days. I should start my period on March 11th. Yesterday I had light pinkish/red blood when I wiped and some cramping and now I am having light brown discharge that is odorless. I have not missed any pills, and I do have unprotected sex.
Earlier in May I missed three days of my pills and started to bleed. So I stopped taking it because I was going into my placebo week. I had my period then stopped for a day or two then started spotting that's never happen to me. I got my new pack and started taking them and now I feel nauseous as ever and I'm in my second week going to my third week...
idk, it just makes me super nervous. I just freak out. Since I freak so much, it's a sign we should just not have sex. I mean, until I'm ready to be a mother! That would be the best thing to do, but thanks for your reply, it makes me at ease. And, no I haven't missed a pill. I've missed maybe one this month, like I took it a little late, but we didn't have sex because of that..
Hello.. I been on Ocella for almost 2 months. and ever since I started taking it my breast have been very sore, there are days where I can not even sleep or stand having my bra on thru out the day. They hurt if I touch them, run or make any fast move. I did get my period which it was not that heavy being that I hadnt had a period for over a year. Could that be the problem?
Although they claim to not have any difference, I was on Yasmin (brand name) for a while and then was switched too Ocella (Generic) and I did notice slight changes in my period. In fact, I never missed a single period on Yasmin, but did miss one while on Ocella. The blue veins, I mean if your fair skin like me, I notice the veins all the time. Sometimes they are bluer then normal, but you can't always go by that being a symptom of pregnancy.
I am 18 and have been missing my period very regularly. The longest I have gone without having my period is a year and a half. Now it is August and I haven't had my period since April. And before this stretch of 4 months I was having it every other month. I would like to be more normal and I'm not sure if my hormone levels are all off or what.

They did a lot of test on me and everything came back normal. She prescribed some pills that I would drink for 10 days and i would get my period. I did I got my period 5 days later . The following month I got it again and then the month after that I got it for 2 days very very light and I have not gotten it since. I m really scared and worried. Me and husband are ready for a baby. I dont know what to do next. Please help!!

Besides pregnancy, what can cause 3 missed periods? I've been dealing with fatigue, weight gain, some mild swelling in my feet and hands and I have missed now, 3 periods. My best friend took plan b after sex and still ended up very pregnant. She was in med school and away from family and opted for an abortion but that was her choice. You should take a pregnancy test because it has been a while. Also understand that just the sheer fact that you are sort of paranoid about the possibility of being pregnant can prevent your period because of the stress you are putting on yourself.
Maybe you should talk to your parents about birth control, and ask that you see your dr no matter what. Missing your period for so long could be because of something totally unrelated to pregnancy. Get yourself a calendar, or this website has a great app for charting your periods. You should be aware of when you're having them to make sure you keep up with it. And if you decide to become sexually active in the near future, it's a good idea to see a gynecologist.

Hello, I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago because I've missed a few periods, and he decided that I should take a blood test.
It was all right but he thinks that my missed periods are because of low BMI (19.5, I don't believe it is so low that it would interfere with my periods.
i tried pregnancy home kit test on 4th and 9th march and both were negative.
I am on yaz birth control, and I have missed 2 periods. I took 5 home pregnancy tests which all have resulted in negatives. I have never missed a period other than when I was pregnant. I did not miss any pills of birth control and have been on no other medication. I am slighlty stressed and thought that was a reasonable explanation as to why I missed my first period. but now that I have missed two I am wondering....
