It started to sting and burn my skin, so I stopped using it after just two days. I went to a doctor (not a Dermatologist) and he prescribed a cream, Nystatin (100,000 USP) & Triamcinolone (1 mg). After using it for four days, I began to notice that it also had a stinging effect and caused skin distortion (especially the penis head and inner forskin). Worst of all, it seems I have lost all sensation and significant numbness to those areas. I believe the damage is permanent.
So I looked it up on the net and it didnt say anything about being used for a yeast infection. What should I do?
if youve been using the nystatin cream, or ointment, and that hasnt worked, i would suggest asking the Dr about Mycostatin. its a mixture of 2 ingredients. nystatin for the fungal part, and triamcinolone for the rashy part. nystatin cream worked well for my dd, so i never tried mycostatin, but its written alot by the pediatrician. good luck!
I went home a saw some peeling from the itching and little red dots all over the head of my penis. I went to see the doctor and he told me it was a fungus. He prescribed nystatin/triamcinolone cream. I put it on twice daily and it helped with the itching. I used it for about 2 weeks and the bumps seem to go away and itching stop, but the tip of penis is now purple. I continued to used the cream for another week because the doctor said to use it I'm really sure that the fungus was gone.
Well i used to have a rash on the shaft of my penis, its itched, my doctor prescribed Clotrimazole to stop the itch and Nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide to make the rash go away because it wouldnt. Anyway, now it is back, but this time its on my penis head, it doesnt itch, it only makes the skin hard and kinda bumpy, its also rises a little Nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide helps make it go away, but it comes back, i believe it might be the lotion i use.
My ob gyn prescribed me a cream that has nystantin and triamcinolone acetonide. I was reading the patient information leaflet and I got nervous when I read this among the precautions paragraphs: "there are no teratogenic studies with combined nystantin and triamcinolone acetonide. Corticoisteroids are generally teratogenic in laboratory animals when administered systematically at relatively low dosage levels.
He prescribed to me Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream. I used it and it seemed to control the itching but never made it go away. I eventually went to a dermatologist and he presribed to me Cordran Lotion and 200 MG of Fluconazole tablets. They both seem to control the problem but again, does not make it go away. Any ideas?
I went to my GP and he suggested a chronic yeast infection and prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone cream. I used this twice a day for a couple of months without any real improvement to the foreskin and with continued break outs. He then suggested I go see a dermatologist who thinks it's psoriasis and prescribed elidel. I used elidel twice a week for 2 weeks and there was a notable improvement to my foreskin in terms of elastacity. Although the redness has not gone away.

Went back in and she said it looked like a yeast infection. She prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone. It cleared it right up. However it came back about a week and a half later. Then I was given fluconazole. Doc had me on that for 1 week. If anything it seemed like it made it worse. VERY ITCHY! Now doc is having me go see a dermatologist in 3 weeks to see exactly what it is. I'm 25 years old, married with 2 kids, healthy and have NEVER had any problems with yeast.
She prescribed Valtrex and Nystatin Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream. I used both and In about 2 weeks symptoms cleared for the most part. Since the first outbreak, I have not had such severe symptoms. I still however have an ongoing problem of sensitive foreskin. (never had this in the past) There is usually a section on my foreskin that is uncomfortable. The skin looks a little more reddish there, however seems to have the same texture of the rest of the foreskin.

He prescribed nystatin triamcinolone acetonide and I used it twice a day as instructed. I noticed a small difference of it getting better, but it is not gone. I would appreciate your input.
I used some Nystatin and Triamcinolone cream that cleared it all up within a day or two. I stopped using it and it continues to come back. Its been over a month and a half now that it keeps coming back. They are like little pimples no clusters with a white head that disappear and ulcer in a couple days. Again no symptons, but im afraid i got some type of herpes. What is my risk? I suffer from psoriasis. I have not been tested yet for anything.
looked at it very carefully and stated that it was a yeast infection. Prescribed Difucan and Nystatin w/triamcinolone and said to keep it dry w/ baby powder cornstarch. After 3 days the redness and burning on my scrotum was gone and the rash that had spread to my shaft had started to fade. After 10 days the scrotum is fine, but the rash that was on my shaft is now peeling as if the yeast has dead(die-off?) and now my body is trying to shed it.

Mine has not. The doctor gave me Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide cream which usually clears the redness and discomfort up within two days. The problem is that eventually I will masturbate and then it will start all over again. My question is 1) What is this redness and discomfort? 2) what can I do to get rid of it? i.e.: How long (days? weeks?) do I have to refrain from sex/masterbation using what kind of cream till I can be normal again?

I had a reoccurring fungal infection on the tip of my penis that I believe has been cured through oral fluconazole. Part of the treatment was Nystatin/Triamcinolone. For a time I also used Ciplopirox but it made the skin very waxy looking so I stopped that treatment. Now the underside of the Penis is pink in color and sex/rubbing in my underwear aggravates the condition, causing it to burn for a short period and get more red in color.
I had some Nystatin/Triamcinolone cream and mixed it with some Lansinoh Lanolin cream and used it on his butt and it LITERALLY cleared up the rash completely gone between diaper changes... One week since the rash began, I saw the doctor and he said it was a fungal infection and prescribed Nystatin cream and did a blood test for Herpes. After one week I returned and the cream had almost made the rash disappear. He told me to continue the cream until the rash was gone and then do it for two more days after that. My blood test was negative for Herpes. He said, "You can relax, you're out of the woods.

He agreed with the initial diagnosis and prescribed a slightly different cream—Nystatin Triamcinoloneand since I was concerned that it might be Herpes he also prescribed a generic version of Valtrex to take three times a day for 10 days. I used the cream and took the medicine. It cleared up in roughly four days and hasn't returned since, although I feel like something is coming back on my scrotum and have begun using the Nystatin Triamcinolone cream, but have only done so twice.
