I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
He prescribed nystatin triamcinolone acetonide and I used it twice a day as instructed. I noticed a small difference of it getting better, but it is not gone. Every once in a while I feel a sharp pain there. What should I do? I am willing to do anything to get rid of this. Should I keep putting the nystatin triamcinolone acetonide on? I would appreciate your input.
I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.
Ask the Pharmacist at the drug store you got them from, if they were prescribed call and ask the Doctor ...
The cream is used for inflammatory and pruritic lesions and for certain dermatitis. Your daughter may not be having a fungal infection. Burning and itching are very common side effects. Hence your daughter must have screamed. For fungal infections this cream is available with nystatin in it. However please consult your daughter’s pediatrician or skin specialist before starting any medicine.

i have a ringworm shaped rash on my right aerola that appeared a week ago and started as a red small dot like a mosquito bite yesterday it only was on the outside edges of my aerola. now it is shaped like a ringworm!!. should I be thinking cancer??? or a type of fungus and any suggestions of ointment I can use? I used some gloves (Nitrile Exam Gloves) and i had a bad irritation because of that. I stoped used the gloves anymore and I went to the doctor. He gaved me NYSTATIN and TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE OINTMENT USP. It worked for a couple of days but then the ointment was gone , and i had no more refill. After only one day, the irritation started again. I went to the doctor again and he gaved me TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM USP, 0.1%.
ok ive been using the the nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream for almost 2 weeks and no real sign of clearing up. most of my std tests have come back and were negative. occasionally it looks as if its cleared alot but not for long. i started washing with antibacterial soap also thought maybe that would help. it really has no symtems at all except for the redness, it doesnt hurt, burn, or itch except for the occasional itch but nothing prolonged.

I went to my gyno with severe irritation on my genitals, and burning urination. Initial diagnosis was a yeast infection as well as a bladder infection. She prescribed me diflucan, an antibiotic, and nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. I wasn't able to immediately pick up the medications, and didn't begin treatment for another 10 hours or so. We are currently treating it as eczema and he is on elidel and triamcinolone cream, we have tried tanning beds and bleach baths. No relieve, this has been going since last Nov. The dermatologist wants to put him on methotraxate (sp?) (chemo drug). I am nervous, any advice???? He also has a history of lymes disease a few years ago..any possible connection?????
I had a reoccurring fungal infection on the tip of my penis that I believe has been cured through oral fluconazole. Part of the treatment was Nystatin/Triamcinolone. For a time I also used Ciplopirox but it made the skin very waxy looking so I stopped that treatment. Now the underside of the Penis is pink in color and sex/rubbing in my underwear aggravates the condition, causing it to burn for a short period and get more red in color.
Saw my urologist and he agreed it looked like could have been a balinitis from yeast. He prescribed nystatin/triamcinolone and no help and maybe a little worse after 4 days so stopped that. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week.

Hi, I'm a m/23year. I was in high risk because of 8-9 (with condoms)sexual exposures and some of them were homosexual. Indeed, that first one of them was 22 months ago and the last one was 14 months ago.After that, i was freaked out, then 3 months after the last exposure i got tested for STD's & HIV which were all of them Negative. After that, i got tested again for just SDT's which became Negative.

Clammy, itchy, burning groin and balls like nano worms live on the surface is due to contact, in my case, with vaginal fluids! My girlfriend and I were active for years with no issues. We broke up and we hooked up, with a condom, about two years later and I almost immediately had the symptoms that do not go away!
so i called pharmacist and asked if nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream was ok to use and the pharmacist said yes.. so i used it for about three weeks and it still the same. what should i do?

I was given nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream for balanitis. It has been several weeks and it is still hanging around. It seems like it begins to go away, but never fully does. After masturbation my penis looks red and irritated. I have gone about two weeks without masturbating because I was afraid that was not helping but it still remained. I am not circumsized. I'm keeping the area dry and using the cream as directed. My doctor asks that I keep using the cream.
I then went to my doctor for help and he advised at first it was yeast. So he prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide. At first it burned like hell so doctor suggested Lotrimin. So I tried lotrimin for a month, and it got worse. I tried Monistat, it didn't help but only temporary relief. I then tried lamisil, which seemed promising but eventually the irritation got worse and burned more. So I went back to the Nystatin and am currently on my 3rd week of use.

i went to the doctors office and she said it really didnt look like an std, she gave me nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. it hasnt let up yet. so i went to the health department and got all the std tests they havent come back yet. but the doctor that looks at all the stds there said she didnt think it was an std either. im just wondering what this could be and how to get rid of it.
He has been treated for everything from ringworm to scabies. Many trips to doctors and have tried every cream, ointment and everything from oatmeal to clear finger nail polish. We are at our wits end. Please advise me on what to do. Thanks.
