nuvaring questions

I have a few questions about the NuvaRing before I try it out: 1) Would I be getting UTI's or Yeast infections more? (I do get them very easily) 2) How do I take the NuvaRing out?? There's no string or anything attatched to it, such as a tampon has. And how far do you have to put it up? 3) Does NuvaRing make it difficult to have sex? Would he notice it? Thank you everyone for taking your time to read my questions and give the best advice!

I am also worried the paps and colpos missed something high in the canal and/or my HPV test was a false negative 2. Or could it all be the Nuvaring? Could the Nuvaring cause LSIL to show in the pap (an inflammation I guess)? Can one have LSIL without HPV? Could Nuvaring cause cervical ectropion? I'm terrified of what may come next!!! I started the Nuvaring right after a m/c. Three weeks and 3 days later wondering when my period will start. Woke this morning thinking maybe I am pregnant. I had been having that feeling but thought it was just 'residual' thoughts of the recent pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test...positive. But less than 2 hours later I'm bleeding. I go back to look at the test just to make sure I saw what I saw...and yes it is.

i started Nuvaring 3 weeks ago yesterday when i was supposed to ive had sex w/o protection quite a few times since. I was supposed to start my period yesterday Im NEVER late early if anything I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative. I am sorry to hear about your issues with nuvaring. I had started the nuvaring for perimenopause issues my gyn said would help. No docs Ive talked to since have heard of this being used for anything other than birth control my but tubs have been tied for years.After having nuvaring in for almost three weeks i started to bleed lite not spotting and its dark and not a pleasant smell at all never have had an Oder like that in 46 years and i cant stand it.

Hello, a few days ago I went to my annual gynecologist appointment and after the exam was finished I began to change back into my clothes and (without thinking) inserted my entire finger into my vagina to push my NuvaRing birth control back into place. I know I touched the wall of my vagina and didn't think anything of it until afterwards when I realized I had not washed my hands prior to this and could have potentially introduced STD/HIV/Herpes that were present in the office...

I started using the NuvaRing on April 15th and before I used the IUD. I took out the NuvaRing on May 6th but did not have my period. So I put it back in 7 days later. On the 7th day I noticed around my nipples were sore and still to this day they are still sore. So is there a chance I could be pregnant or could his be due to the NuvaRing?

The nuvaring always made me have weird symptoms. I swear I thought I was pregnant all the time. I never was. But if you had unprotected sex and then put it in... well you had unprotected sex. Birth control isn't going to work until a week after you put it in which is why they say to double up the method. Best thing to do is wait until you're supposed to take it out and take a pregnancy test. Or take one now since you would have had sex 2 weeks ago and it should be pretty accurate.

Many people have experienced pains and light bleeding while having intercourse and using nuvaring. It seems to affect everyone differently, but it's very likely the nuvaring is the source of your problems. I would suggest trying a different form of birth control, as this one is obviously not for you.

I was prescribed NuvaRing on Sept 20th and put it in same day around 12pm. I just had unprotected sex with ejaculation inside last night on thursday sept 28th at approx. 1am. i had it in for the 7 days and now i'm scared I might become pregnant because I am afraid we did not wait long enough. Does anyone know if I could become pregnant or when the NuvaRing becomes effective? I've read online to wait 7 days and we did but we cut it very close.
