Had mirena until january had some issues with it all of a sudden after being on it a year and a half, I was on nexplanon for a month and it made my depression really bad so got off that immediatly, now the nuva ring. I was on the nuvaring for 6 years be4 I had my daughter I dont remember feeling this horrible. So im assuiming im either pregnant or going to have one hell of a period :( blah!! sunbite2000 From what ive read you get your fertility back immediatly after stopping implant.

YES! It can cause diabetes! It is listed as glucose intolerance in the side effects. I went though 8 months of #@!& on nuvaring. I went to the doc because I wad exhausted all of the time, fuzzy brained, and starting to loose my hair. When I asked if it could be the birth control, my question was dismissed. They tried to put me on all of this medication for slightly elevated blood sugar. I refused. I decided to go off the nuvaring, which I was on only for acne.

Hey ladies, I have been on the nuvaring for almost a month now and have noticed uncontrollable and almost debilitating mood swings. I have literally cringed, cried and felt like I was crawling out of my very own skin and for no REAL reason. It has greatly effected my relationships. The main site says that common side effects are mood swings, including depression. I do have a history of being emotionally unstable.

All of the extra hormones, including the hormones inside of the semen, make your vagina very sensitive to semen. When i was on the nuvaring...semen burned. Nuvaring=hormones. No nuvaring and not pregnant=fine. Now 36 weeks pregnant and semen burns.

d like the Nuvaring, you get your period and insert it for 3wks, remove and repeat the process! Very easy, and not noticeable during sex. It helped me until I was ready to get pregnant. After babies born I'm going back on it!

I'm on nuvaring too and I'm usually way more than 3 days late. I'll take the ring out on Sunday and then won't get my period until Friday. I know how you feel, though. I get totally freaked out when my period is late too. But the reply before yours, peekawho, is right. Wait a week and test again.

I am also allergic to latex and tried the NuvaRing and had quite a severe latex allergic reaction to it. I ripped my Gyno a new one after that happened. I understand that it's technically latex-free, but it contains the same main ingredient as latex (which is what caused the reaction) and I feel that needs to be mentioned on the box at least.

I had sex fathers day and the 29th and the condom broke but i hav the nuva ring and i got my period but its lasts 3-4 days well i put nuvaring back in on july 5th then had unprotected sex (pull out) on the 7th of july i feel different always hungry n and expect period in a wk wen can i test or how do i kno for sure if test is negative could it be from nuvaring because with my 2yo i had missed period n tested negative

I like the nuvaring. Didn't like the depo shot gained about In water weight took me over 18 months to loose.

i had problems with acne and hairiness hence different pills, and i experienced depression and moodiness on different pills. Nuvaring ( I got continuous uti infections from having this inside me) Implanon- no sex drive at all ( relationship issues due to that) Depo provera injection worked for me was happy with this but I'm not sure its suitable to my above conditions.

I tried to stick it out with the seasonique but I just recently got so fed up with the depression and symptoms I stopped taking it all together. I had NO sex drive on seasonique and now I have a healthy one again but I want to find a birth control that does not take away my sex drive or make me depressed. I was thinking maybe ortho tri cylcen low. Any suggestions? Does anyone actually like the bc they are on??? PLEASE help!! thanks!

3 months ago I switched to Nuvaring from the pill. Hubby and I were going to wait until the spring to start ttc. My dr said I could leave my ring in for 4 weeks to avoid my period so technically I haven't had my period since October 9. I have exactly 1 week until I can either take it out for my period or leave it in to avoid it. I have been bloated and hungry all the time. Yesterday I was exhausted after shopping for 2 hours and napped when I woke up I was so nauseous.

I am now on day 3 of no nuvaring and I am cramping bleeding large blood clots and I cant find any info about what to expect after the removal and stopping the use of nuvaring

Hi there, I am a 29 year old female - and about 7 months ago I stopped using Nuvaring. I already had a bit of adult acne and some weight gain before I stopped, but after I stopped the acne went a little crazy - on the lower half of my face and my neck. It has also been a bit over 6 months since I've had a period, which is beginning to freak me out.

I started using the NuvaRing on April 15th and before I used the IUD. I took out the NuvaRing on May 6th but did not have my period. So I put it back in 7 days later. On the 7th day I noticed around my nipples were sore and still to this day they are still sore. So is there a chance I could be pregnant or could his be due to the NuvaRing?

I had unprotected sex today. I recently started on Nuvaring and was told I needed 7 days for it to become effective. Today is the 7th day. Should I take a Plan B just in case?

My periods have been very heavy with the past one lasting two weeks with large tissue discharge. It just ended Sunday after beginning one week before removing Nuvaring and only ending once Nuvaring was reinserted. It is so irregular that I could bleed any time of the month at any intensity for any period of time. This past one was so bad that I had to sleep with a heating pad nightly. What could this mean?

I just started the nuvaring again after being off birth control for 3 years or so. I never had an issue with it before but I am having intense feelings of anxiety.
