Are you sure you were supposed to start Nuvaring on the first day of your period? I ask because Im on Nuvaring and was directed to put it in the Sunday AFTER the first day of my period. Then leave it in for 3 weeks and take it out on Sunday and leave it out until the following Sunday.
For a couple of days I've been experiencing random nausea either in the morning or randomly in the day, breast tenderness and pain, lower abdominal pressure, head aches, light headed, increase in appetite, wierd eating habits or eating things I never ate before, I'm a smoker and lighting a cigarette makes me feel sick especially in the morning, today I've been urinating frequantly and my emotions are very high, moods swings, this morning I was feeling intense nausea at my bus station and just s
I'm passing through a LOT of blod cloths, I had very very low abdominal pains, sharp pains, nausea, no sex drive, always tired, no energy and breast tenderness. I took a pregnancy test and I'm not pregnant. I've been researching a little, and similar people have my problem and doctors don't know how to fix it. I'm keeping in touch with my obgyn doc but I don't know if I fully trust her.
I am having 3 BM's a day( very unlike me) I have had a constant runny nose. You had removed it for few hours during sex so there are chances that you can get pregnant. Breast tenderness or enlargement; change in appetite; changes in weight; dizziness; headache; mild hair loss; nausea; nervousness; stomach cramps or bloating; vaginal spotting or breakthrough bleeding, dizziness are few common side effects of Nuvaring. If HPTs are negative it is possible that your body is adjusting to the changing hormone levels. For more queries and assistance visit your gynecologist.

Hey everyone!! (Hope you are all well!) I am currently on Alesse 28. Its the 1st bcp I've ever been on. I am almost running out and I will be going to do the DR soon. My dr gave a refill for Alesse again. I went to the pharmacy and they told me they no longer carry it. Just generic. I dont know how this generic brand will impact me. My body is used to Alesse. So far I have not have any "physical" problems with Alesse.
For the past week, I experienced some breast soreness and tenderness. Then, Dec12 I got some pretty uncomfortable cramping in my lower abdomen, and hasnt stopped for 3 days. The pain is mild/moderate and sometimes seems to radiate to my lower back and down my thighs. I went to the ER twice in the past two days. The forst one said maybe its a side effect from stopping the pill, and the second did bloodwork and urinalysis and all was normal.
my last pregnancy i apparently concieved during my period (so it's not a surprise to me if i could have actually conceived), and cramping was the first symptom, then followed breast tenderness, nausea, and dizziness. So far, i am just experiencing cramping, is it possible to not experience breast tenderness? i am too impatient to wait another two weeks to see i will miss my period, what can i do to find out if i am pregnant or not? and has anyone else been in a similar situation?
I had been placed on Nuvaring birth control the Monday of that same week. I am having normal period symptoms like breast tenderness, for me I don't get cramps but I do burn in that area, and breaking out all owe my face and chest. My mom only knows that I'm not a virgin because I told her the night my ex broke up with me. She doesn't know that I drank that night or that I had sex recently.
For the last 6 months I have been getting tearing (look like paper cuts) in my vaginal area (1/4 to 1/2 inch long). I get the tears at least once or twice a week and they last from 2-4 days, go away for a few days and then come back. They continue to occur in the same locations; 1. Inside the vaginal lips on the sides almost always in the crease (between the labia minora and majora?) 2. Between the anus and vaginal opening (perineum) 3. Above the clitoris in the "hood" area.
I'm pretty sure that an over-the-counter pregnancy test can give you an answer by the time you notice things like breast tenderness. It might be worth the peace of mind. It sounds like you should talk to your gynecologist about a different kind of birth control, though, because it sounds like you're having a bad reaction. :( If you tend to respond poorly to oral contraceptives, maybe you could look into Mirena IUD or Nuvaring.
I have felt a little queasy, no breast tenderness (which I usually have before period starts), headaches, and backache. I didn't have any signs with my first child other than a little nausia. My doctor said give it another 3-4 days. Could I still be pregnant? I am never late like this. Sometimes a day or two, but never 5 days. I have been running to the bathroom for 4 days now thinking my period was coming and nothing. Little discharge, which I usually never have right before I start.
Ive taken two test and both negative, i still have all the same symptoms except breast aint as bad and still no period and no sign of it! I took it out almost a week ago, do u think im just testing to early or getting false negatives?
it also happends during and after intercourse. I have been tested for STD's and everything was all negative I have even had an ultrasound done and nothing. I am waiting to get a pap done. Anyways I am sooo frusterated and have been reading alot about cervical cancer so now I am scared that I might be having symptoms of cervical cancer. But I am also thinking it may just be the endometriosis or that other thing. I did have Human Papiloma Virus years ago...no problems for about 9 years now.
Well yall, I went to take my bath this morning and noticed some lil clear liquid coming out of my right breast nipple. I am having more and more symptoms everyday. I called the doctor and they sat me up for an appointment way in September. I guess they wanna make sure I don't see no period at all for the whole month of August and the beginning of September. I already know I'm not gonna see anything cause I don't have any feeling at all in my body that a period is even trying to come.
Finally, HCG causes some of the typical early pregnancy symptoms such as breast tenderness and nausea, so eventually, your own body will be likely to alert you. The best way to double check if you suspect your test is not accurate, or if you simply need peace of mind, is to visit your doctor or local clinic. Many doctor's offices or clinics offer free pregnancy tests--so inquire before going in. If you would like more information go to: http://www.womenshealth.gov/faq/pregtest.
I took nuvaring and didn't experience side effects until about 7months in. I woke up with a streak of light in the vision of my right eye. I knew right away it was the ring. So I took it out immediately, the light went away after 3days. Then, 2wks after stopping the ring, more trouble arose. I woke up in the middle of the night with a terrible pain in the inner elbow of my left arm, and had pain and tingling and numbness in my left lower leg and hand as well.
I got my period then, but it is missing this month. I went through very painful breast tenderness. The day I was supposed to get my period, I suffered terrible cramps when I first woke up. Since then, my breast are not hurting as much anymore, but I still feel blown up and PMS. I ran 3 at home pregnancy tests, and all of them came out negative (last one was yesterday). Last night and this morning, I had brown spotting, but it's gone now. I don't know if this is normal or what it is.
My period was due on Friday but all i have been getting is breast tenderness and some cramps. Today is monday and still no period i noticed a couple drops of brownish pink discharge but thats it... Since it's only a short period of being off the pill is it too early to get pregnant?
I'm a 20 yr old girl. Usually healthy, but for the last yr I kept having this strange feeling on the left side of my abdomen, under my ribs - like my ribs were poking my guts & the area felt like a big wet sponge. It would come & go and I mainly attributed my discomfort to the the pounds I'd gained in college. A few weeks ago, I went to the doctor for a cough & I noticed while I was waiting that it was difficult for me to sit up. My guts felt scrunched.
So I was messed up from stopping the pill and going on the NuvaRing already and then was messed up when I stopped the NuvaRing. I think I was suppost to start my period today. I'm going to wait until the end of the week and if I haven't started I will take another hpt. Thanks for your comments.
