So, I need an OB. I've found out that I've been 6 weeks pregnant for a few days now and I've been trying to get an appointment with my regular Obstetricianist but she's booked until late January. I'm not on prenatal care and I want to start it ASAP so that baby can start receiving it's nourishment. I live in the Tri-NY state area. Westchester county, Manhattan, uptown bronx, or in queens could work out fine for me. Please let me know if anyone could help me out.
She currently has a neurologist near Westchester Medical Center. We were referred to him by the ENT who discovered my daughter's Chiari. September was the last time that we went to the NL. He wants to monitor my dd every six months for scoliosis. His office just got the approval from my daughter's insurance to do three MRIs of her back. I would think it would be more important to do a CINE-MRI and other procedures that look at her head.

I had double by-pass heart surgery in 2004 , and noticed right away that something was not right. B/c it took so long when I was 14-15, in 4 different hospitals (including Albany Med. Westchester Med. And then surgery in Dallas, TX & Baylor University med.) the pain intensified & irreversible nerve damage accured.

I went to a nutritionist regarding my tiredness and weight loss. The nutritionist committed me to one month of perfect eating, sleeping, routine walks and no alcohol. After the month I was symptom free. No headaches, great energy, and the muscle aches have subsided. I've been maintaining the proper diet, sleep, walking and moderation on alcohol. The nutritionist suspected that I was using alcohol and pain releif in excess.
So sorry to hear about your lose. I stay on Westchester so Torrance is not too far. I totally agree to leave an abusive relationship. It will only get worse.
