Does anyone know where I can get a Fibroscan done in the NYC area? I am 58, genotype 1a slow responder, went through 28 weeks SOC without success. I just had my first liver biopsy and the results were Stage 2 fibrosis, Grade 0 portal inflammation and Grade1 lobular inflammation. However, my MRI shows a cirrhotic morphology, although my spleen is normal size (12.6 cm). I think a Fibroscan may be a good source of supplemental info.
I was thinking about when I received a rapid test at a testing center in nyc. The lady who read me my results had a thick jamaican accent and when I think back to that time I was so scared my memory was hazy but I know she said negative, what concerns me that I remember is that when I left she said something like "see the guy as you leave." Could I have misinterpreted what she told me?
The question is mainly for NYC residents. I got a phone call from NYC Dept of Health,the person said that my case of HPC was reported to NYC Bord of Health as it requers by law. The person wanted to intervew me , he told me that the info was got from my Dr. (he named her) and (without giving any choice of ether I wantt to be intevewd or not) asked a few private questions.
Possible exposure (protected but drunk) during last week December to first week January 2010 (by 10th?). Oral swab test on 1/29/10 in NYC clinic was negative. Subsequent NYC Elisa testing with my doctor on 2/2 (Neg on all STD's, HIV, Hep), 2/16 (Neg on HIV), 3/2 (Neg on all STD's, HIV, Hep). Will see Doc on 3/9 but test then or when??

Thanks I heard that I just wondered how it affected pregnancy. My doctors office basically called me and told me I was diabetic this time I was hypoglycemic and that they would keep a close eye on me but didn't say anything else so I just wondered. And the last thing I want to do is google anything cuz its always worse case.
im a 31 yr old woman from australia, now living in nyc. i have a duel-chamber pacemaker, rare heart defects including no circumflex artery, sick sinus syndrome, mvp, 8 heart attacks (1 included sudden cardiac death for 4.5 mins). recently my cardiologist refused to see me anymore, gave no reason. i dont know what to do .. every cardiologist ive been to has said they dont know how to deal with/treat the no circumflex.. does any1 know any good ep/cardio dr?
