So looking through posts I see a lot of mommies on here are from Texas? I'm from north Texas and hateing this heat!

Its always good to welcome someone to texas :) i read something about it being good to fly starting around 15 weeks til later 20 something weeks but ithink you should be good its mostly a worry about going into labor the farther you are and being stuck in.the air :o You'll have to take lots of stretch breaks im used to driving 8-10 hrs a day but a 7 hr trip to see family for Christmas took forever!!

Temp changes can change your BBT, depending on factors such as you mentioned. I am in Texas as well, but have always been here. So yes, technically you being in a different climate now could possible affect your BBT.

Hope everyone is doing well. Joanna wasn't due until the 23rd but she decided she wanted to meet us early, and ended up born on the 6th. She's 8 weeks old now and doing well. I also can't wait for the holidays. It's hot here as I am in South Texas, but we have a cool front coming in this weekend and I can't wait!!! Come on holidays!!!

I am only 33 weeks and I am miserable. It is really HOT here in Texas!!! Plus, I suffer from this Restless Leg Syndrome, while I am pregnant and it is terrible. Plus, he is low and just hurting me. I wear a support belt to try to help w/ the pain. If that isn't enough, we are getting ready to move and will barely make the arrival of the baby...that's assuming he doesn't try to come early w/ all the packing and activity.

Okay ladies.......I know I can't post about this everyday but I just feel awful. I had to run to the toilet at least 15 times last night. And then I would just dry heave. Well, it just decided to wait until this morning (which I figured) and as soon as I leaned over to brush my teeth.......well, I'm sure you can guess what happened next. I just feel awful and needed to share.........

Ok mommas here's the deal with my first pregnancy I started out at 210 which was the most I had ever weighed at the end of my pregnancy I maxed out at 217 and my son was born 7.4 lbs and I left the hospital weighing 205. After that I got down to 184 but then I went through a really bad divorce and I shot back up to 206 and I fluctuated between that and 197. Now I'm 15wks soon to be 16wks on Tuesday I started out at 203 and I just weighed myself and I'm 205.

Lots of these suggestions are good and might help. Unfortunately for me, I just suffered for about the first 18 weeks or so. But I would try anything. Jolly Ranchers can be helpful believe it or not. Oh, don't brush when very first waking up. It is total habit for me but it also makes me vomit horribly and I was also told this by a nutritionist while I was in the hospital (from Hypermesis) with my last pregnancy.

I you live within travel distance of Texas I can make a personal referral in Austin, and other cities of high quality General Practice Docs that will tackle a whole body's health, including the thyroid. If not an easy drive or already in Texas, it's time to interview a referred GP. Call everyone in your friend circle, and find a fairly young general practice doc that someone likes. Give their office a call and ask to talk to the head nurse or PA/MA.

Anyone live in texas? I am due in 21 days with my first. I would like to meet or talk with moms :) my friends where i am are so young and ots just not the same. :/ ive only been living in Arlington since August last yr ..
