Avatar m tn Eating eggs, fish and poultry may help you but supplementation may be important too. I am considering a nutritionist evaluation myself to nail down how I should be eating. This article talks about harm low B12 can do. https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/vitamin-b12-deficiency-can-be-sneaky-harmful-201301105780 This really could be impacting what is going on with you! I would talk to your doctor about the negative testing but the reactive bands. Please let me know their response!
4489852 tn?1375753951 This is not a question, but I wanted to post my blog on here for other people to read if they wanted to. I had a hard time finding a chiari blog that was kept up to date and was current, so I wanted to start one not only so that i could have record of everything, but also so that other people could read my story and see that they are not alone in this fight. This is the blog I started in April.
1853014 tn?1340038575 I think this is the blog you are talking about. It is excellent. You can see there are many, many pages of valuable information. Plus it is written very well and has some humor too. http://hep-free.
Avatar m tn First of all start eating healthy and less, around 1700 calories daily (for more info contact a nutritionist) please don't consume less than 1500/day. You could try jogging but if that's too intense for your knee a-45-minutes walk 4-5 times a week is proven to promote weight loss. Also you can look for exercises like crunches, curls and leg raises that won't make your knee worse. You can also follow my blog on tumblr for more inspiration and tips :) feel free to ask anything.
Avatar f tn I have ankylosing spondylitis and irritable bowel syndrome. I think they are most definitely related. I've been following a low starch diet (Carol Sinclair's IBS Low Starch Diet) and it has really helped. I've also recently started seeing a nutritionist and had food intolerance tests done, am taking Schussler Tissue Salts and incorporated the Anti-Inflammation Diet Plan into my menu planning. All this is detailed on my blog www.bonappetitreview.blogspot.
643805 tn?1243968843 You should definitely see a rheumatologist and I'm sure they can help you. If it is AS then it is manageable so don't worry! I've been following a low starch diet (Carol Sinclair's IBS Low Starch Diet) and it has really helped.
Avatar n tn I would also recommend you see a rheumatologist to get a proper diagnosis. Pain in the sacrum is one of the key indicators of Ankylosing Spondylitis so you may have that. Plus it seems that AS and IBS often go hand in hand. I have ankylosing spondylitis and irritable bowel syndrome. 328799 tn?1276565732 There is a great forum here for nutrition and I suggest you begin there. You could also make an appointment with a professional nutritionist and work out a diet plan. There are many excellent books on proper nutrition and many good websites devoted to the subject, but go to only reputable sites! Sleep............so incredibly essential to good physical/mental and emotional health. We all have our own natural sleep patterns, some of us are day people and some are night owls...........
7757724 tn?1396279586 I even went to a nutritionist who just said I was doing everything right. When I got pregnant with my second I was 270. I gained 11 lbs that pregnancy and quickly dropped to 260 after having him but got stuck there. Talked to my doctor and she said I was doing the right things and would eventually lose the weight. Finally I want to a naturopath. She tested me and we found out I was intolerant to milk and soy. She else talked with me about what I was feeling.

Avatar f tn m on a low dose of glyburide at bedtime and just making sure I eat the right amount of carbs at the right times. Are you going to see a nutritionist or a maternal fetal medicine specialist? Seeing the nutritionist helped me a lot.
Avatar f tn I went to a nutritionist regarding my tiredness and weight loss. The nutritionist committed me to one month of perfect eating, sleeping, routine walks and no alcohol. After the month I was symptom free. No headaches, great energy, and the muscle aches have subsided. I've been maintaining the proper diet, sleep, walking and moderation on alcohol. The nutritionist suspected that I was using alcohol and pain releif in excess.
897070 tn?1320652629 Has anyone been unable to find the hepc new drugs and liver health blog, looks like its disappeared and my twitter feed has gone as well. This is the janis and friends follow on blog. Anyone know where its gone ?
Avatar f tn My suggestion to MedHelp would be that if a blogger was to place your advertisement on their blog, for free, that the blog be allowed to publicly share their blog on the MedHelp forums despite having self-advertisement. I think that would only be fair as most bloggers charge advertisers for ad space.
5889098 tn?1376225220 Hello Ladies! I have just started my Lupron Depot treatment and have started a blog to document my experience. 5664897 tn?1375480696 Professional help thru an inpatient or intense outpatient program. A nutritionist and therapist are a must. This is rarely cured on your own.
26471 tn?1211936521 I would love to help with your information gathering, but I guess old age has me a bit "uncurious"....I read your blog and tried to winnow out what I could research for you, but the brain would not process. What if you made a wish list of stuff you wanted hunted down? Here's hoping you are not frustrated with ignorance, first my butt went, then the eyes and now, I'm afraid, my energy level with interpretation.
Avatar n tn Thanks I heard that I just wondered how it affected pregnancy. My doctors office basically called me and told me I was diabetic this time I was hypoglycemic and that they would keep a close eye on me but didn't say anything else so I just wondered. And the last thing I want to do is google anything cuz its always worse case.
