I'm 9w with my first child and I'm concerned about the substance of my diet. I take my prenatals every day and I drink a lot of water. I've also cut caffeine out of my diet nearly completely. But lately I've been running out of food and I won't be able to afford more groceries for a week or so. I've been eating hot dogs and macaroni and cheese, pretty much whatever is around and I'm worried about the lack of nutrition for the baby.

Hmm, nitrates are found in a lot more foods then hot dogs. Don't think I have ever heard this one. If you are being really healthy you probably shouldnt eat any processed foods, which includes most cheeses and much much more.
