425199 tn?1313068997 So, I could have the lightly salted Matzos as opposed to the unsalted ones? And I could have the salted kosher margarine (dairy free) as opposed to the unsalted one (which, of course, my supermarket is out of)? I was just wondering - I don't know if that's an LID question or if I should direct it to a kosher dietician, but I was just curious.... being able to eat kosher foods would open up some good options, as long as they met the other LID requirements, of course.
Avatar n tn You still haven't said what you're eating, and you say above you're not eating carbs and then that you're eating carbs. The carbs to avoid are the simple carbs, the carbs to eat are the complex carbs, especially vegetables. But let's say when you increased protein you started eating a lot of dairy -- that could explain the gas. So could anything you're either allergic to or intolerant to.
Avatar f tn The most important is self-care. Eating good nutrition, drinking plenty of water, decreasing caffeine (a stimulant). Exercise, even if it's just getting up and dancing or going for a good walk. Rest when you need to. Listen to your body. Distraction when the anxiety is creeping in - turn on some music, call a friend and talk it out, get up and go walk. But most importantly is retraining your brain. "This is just anxiety. It's no fun, but it's not going to hurt me.

Avatar n tn I'm a type II diabetic diagnosed this year with food allergies: corn, peanuts, soybeans, eggs and lettuce and various things in those families. That puts a great many "health" and low fat foods off my list and diabetic staples like eggs are a fond memory. I can't find any information out there to help me balance these evils (diabetes and allergies) against each other.

Avatar n tn m with Rosemary, I bought a jar of peanuts and looked at the nutrition label, FAT all around! in fact it said something like 170 calories and 130 of them were from fat, for 39 nuts. Yet they are supposed to be good for you(?). I think what we need is a nutritionist to step into this and answer some questions. While browsing this site I have found some forums to ask related questions to this forum, I.E. push-up's and rib cage/sternum stresses, can I do push-ups 7 months after surgery?
