I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. I tried pumping breast milk but never produced enough. And going back to work at 8 wks makes it tough too! I have a healthy 2 year old that was 90% formula fed.

I gained forty lbs. Everyone usually loses weight. Thankfully, I've lost half of my treatment weight already post tx. Anyway, everybody's different.

He only drinks milk,little water and juice.He is very energetic and does not look sick. I usually give him Pediasure twice daily that the doctor recommended but i am afraid it should not be what he depends on for all his minerals and vitamins.

There are potential dangers of self-dosing with potassium supplementation. I do not know your medical history and recommend you speak with your MD about potassium supplements if you are concerned with your levels.

It is actually not very healthy, but is pushed for the profits from the huge agricultural feeding operations that benefit the government. You can obtain the nutrients from vegetables (: if you like the taste of milk and personally want to drink it, goat milk is the healthiest for human consumption. (Cows have multiple stomachs for a reason) If you like it though, go for a lower fat volume - like 1% or skim.

She is undergoing chemo every three weeks taxol/carbo. I'm getting so much conflicting information on nutrition. I am dye hard local organic person but I know that that isn't smart in pregnancy when it comes to raw dairy products at all! That meant in switched out my butter, cream cheese, cheeses and milk. Find a natural food store and look for grass fed organic dairy products.

Avatar f tn The "clear fluid" is colostrum. Colostrum can come in anytime DURING your pregnancy and will be your baby's "first milk". It is loaded with antibodies and nutrition. Your milk doesn't come in until AFTER the baby is born, usually 2-3 days after birth but can come in as early as 1 day after and as late as 5 days after. Colostrum is the only nutrition your baby needs the first few days.

From your description, you have stopped breast-feeding for about 6 months now and your body may have stopped producing breast milk. Suggest keeping her on formula and start her on baby food for additional nutrition. She is 7 months old and can start on baby food vegetables, meat and fruit.
