I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Any thoughts or maybe am dumb lol ! Thank you .

I am so lazy about cleaning my blenders, but now that I finally have a dish-washer, there is no excuse for my lazy behavior. My whole Tx went very easy, with me focusing on my nutrition though.

Exercise, even if it's just getting up and dancing or going for a good walk. Rest when you need to. Listen to your body. Distraction when the anxiety is creeping in - turn on some music, call a friend and talk it out, get up and go walk. But most importantly is retraining your brain. "This is just anxiety. Should I start taking these every other day? Or maybe once/ twice a week instead of everyday? or not at all? THANKS!

Tbd I have never used Medifast personally, but a quick glance at their nutrition facts, and I would say if you are struggling with high cholesterol, I wouldn't go that route. Any pre-packaged items/shakes like that tend to be high in sodium and cholesterol- two things you want to stay away from. As with any diet- I'd ask your doctor before you start any plan to make sure it's right for you. I know losing weight can be tough!

Avatar m tn I've been trying to eat more high alkaline foods so since cucumber is about the highest, I gave it a try. I ate about half a small one with fat free dressing. Several hours later I had one of the worst flare-ups ever. I can't say for certain the cucumber triggered it, but it did seem that way. Anyone else have a bad (or good) experience with cucumber?

We all know that study data can be skewed any way one wants to skew it, in order to come up with the preferred results. The "normal 90-110 mg/dl" is no longer considered normal in this day and age, that is, in western medicine here in the USA. Normal glucose range is 60-99 mg/dl. But when you fall below 70 doctors get worried about hypoglycemia. From 100 to 125 mg/dl it's considered prediabetes. At 126 mg/dl and above preprandial (fasting glucose) you would be considered Diabetic Type II.
