Avatar f tn Generally a healthy diet is recommending lowering your sugar and sodium consummation with a low fat/ high fiber intake. Low fat diet translates into a use of polyunsaturated (omega 3, corn oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats and no Trans fats.
Avatar f tn Maybe try some fruit popsicles, but really look at the ingredients or make your own. Try not to get any with high fructose corn syrup! Protein shakes have been good for me, so that's a good suggestion. My hubby had a chocolate whey protein he didn't like so I took over it. I know how your feeling. Nothing sounds good to eat at all and the only thing I can eat with out feeling sick afterwards is Mexican food (& I don't normally eat anything with meat at Mexican restaurants).
Avatar f tn But am confused about the nutrition fact they write in the box of food (rice for example) they say nutrition facts for 100 g but is it like 100g of boiled rice or the uncooked product ? I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Any thoughts or maybe am dumb lol ! Thank you .

Avatar f tn It’s the Bonanza (plant based) brand and brands made with corn and rice because I am gluten-free. I was wondering if it is bad for my health or if it’s damaging in anyway. It’s only thing I will eat at the moment.

Avatar m tn ground whole grain corn, powdered cellulose, peanut hulls, chicken by-product meal, chicken liver flavour, soybean meal, soybean mill run, dried egg product, soybean oil, corn gluten meal.... (plus vitamins etc) This sounds weird. "Peanut hulls"??? Since when were peanut hulls good basic food for dogs?? And the rest of it sounds like junk from dubious origins. The other brands of prescription foods fare no better, in my opinion. I know what I would do if I were you.

Avatar f tn The most important is self-care. Eating good nutrition, drinking plenty of water, decreasing caffeine (a stimulant). Exercise, even if it's just getting up and dancing or going for a good walk. Rest when you need to. Listen to your body. Distraction when the anxiety is creeping in - turn on some music, call a friend and talk it out, get up and go walk. But most importantly is retraining your brain. "This is just anxiety. It's no fun, but it's not going to hurt me.
Avatar n tn I am not a professional by no means, I just knew that your dog seemed to be having the same symptoms as theirs did. You might give it a try, it will take some doing to find dog food that has no corn or corn by products in it. I dont remember what the name of the dog food is but they did find it at Walmart. What have you got to lose to just give it a chance for a few months to see if it helps or not.
Avatar n tn If you are not allergic to corn you can have corn products, such as corn tacos and rice noodles as pasta, rice cakes, and potato pancakes to names a few and give you variety. 547836 tn?1302832832 I was reading the nutrition facts under the links and noticed that although none of the two contain iron, the Protegra contains 5000 IU of Vitamin A! That's a lot of Vitamin A. Avatar f tn This is easy -- anything that doesn't include gluten. Gluten is found in certain grains (and hidden in many processed foods), so any meal without those grains and you have lunch. This means all meat, all beans, all vegetables, all dairy, eggs, everything you've always eaten minus the gluten containing grain. If you want pasta, use brown rice pasta, for example. If you want bread, any grain not containing gluten.

Avatar f tn Do you mean synthetically made? Technically all vitamins are chemicals. If you have concerns about consuming synthetically compounded vitamins, probably the easiest thing to do is google a trusted resource for dietary (food) sources of the vitamin you're looking to monitor in your nutrition and make a conscious effort to consume more of those foods. Generally speaking, in industrialised countries, we get what we need from what we eat with no need to supplement.
