I have fed him Nature's Variety line since he was a kitten...for the past 2 years I have fed him Nature's Variety Instinct. He LOVES this food. I brought my cat to the vet today for a physical...and the vet recommended I give him a type of Purina food that is easily digestible. However, Nature's Variety is such a better quality food....

Avatar f tn But am confused about the nutrition fact they write in the box of food (rice for example) they say nutrition facts for 100 g but is it like 100g of boiled rice or the uncooked product ? I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Any thoughts or maybe am dumb lol ! Thank you .
Avatar f tn I'm desperately trying to find a solution for my constant gas and bloating, so right now I'm basically eating just lean beef and pork (I strongly suspect I'm also intolerant to seafood and poultry, which is very inconvenient) - I'm sure my nutrition is suffering a lot so I'm hoping to find safe foods soon so I can reintroduce things.

I like to roast some skinless chicken breasts with some low sodium seasonings...mix with a small baked potato and fresh veggies...Yum! I found, once I limted the amount of bread/rice/pasta, but not giving them up...weight came off super fast. Are you taking any medications for pcos? I'm on birth control and Metformin. Metformin helps with weight loss as well, as it is a diabetes medication.

Eating too much isn't a good idea, and not all meat is created equal -- beef and pork, for example, are very high in fat, whereas buffalo and venison are lower in fat than many vegetarian foods. Just depends on what you eat and how well you digest it. Some are born to be vegetarian, some are not just as a few people are born with the enzyme to digest dairy but most people aren't. We're not all the same.
Avatar f tn Consider ground meats since you are trying to get as much nutrition as possible. I would dice the vegetables too and chew everything. Spinach and other greens are excellent. Make your plate look like a rainbow of colors and you know you are getting a wide variety of nutrients. Make friends with somebody who is into nutrition and you can learn from him or her.

Exercise, even if it's just getting up and dancing or going for a good walk. Rest when you need to. Listen to your body. Distraction when the anxiety is creeping in - turn on some music, call a friend and talk it out, get up and go walk. But most importantly is retraining your brain. "This is just anxiety. It's no fun, but it's not going to hurt me.

547836 tn?1302832832 I was reading the nutrition facts under the links and noticed that although none of the two contain iron, the Protegra contains 5000 IU of Vitamin A! That's a lot of Vitamin A. Should I start taking these every other day? Or maybe once/ twice a week instead of everyday? or not at all? THANKS!
Avatar f tn Thanks for the reply. I went to my doctor and he gave me an antacid and a tablet for ulcer instead. He said there's nothing wrong with my liver. He suggested to change my eating habit i.e. eat small but frequent. I think I got this when I was in school working as a student assistant then out from poverty am not able to sustain to provide daily needs and eating also food which have not enough nutrition. I will keep the community updated on how I am doing. Thanks. God Speed!
Avatar n tn i have a weimeraner i have had endless trouble with her diet and finally have found something, i was making fresh chicken for her which proved very time consuming and expensive then i found frozen meats, they come in blocks of 400g chicken, beef, lamb, fish, tripe, they have to be cooked but i jus bang it in the microwave for 6 mins let it cool simple as that. i mix it with a handful of vitalin.
Avatar f tn He is picky, but rarely eats any junk, sweets only after dinner and in very limited amount, prefers whole grains really, eats lean beef and ground beef, but not chicken or fish. He loves dairy. Eats lots of soups. Can you please let me know if I need to worry about him eating more veggies/fish or chicken?
Avatar f tn Eat vegetables every day for nutrition and beef liver at least once a week. Go for daily walks outside when possible. Use good posture and notice nature. Remember Epsom salt baths. Avoid sugar and caffeine. You could have one cup coffee or up to two cups tea a day, but no soft drinks. If you don't feel relief in 2-3 weeks, I'll be very surprised, but you could take a product called Rescue Remedy that's over the counter.
Avatar m tn Most likely lack of nutrition. Beef is very powerful at giving nutrition to cells very efficiently. Try increasing beef dramatically. Don't listen to the veggie propaganda.

I freeze a bunch of single servings and have a "grab & go" meal when I'm too rushed or tired to cook. I hesitate to do so this year because I wouldn't know the calorie/nutrient values without doing a lot of laborious searching for each individual ingredients. My Dad wanted some, though, so I made it and guess what I then found online?

Where I have gotten the facts from other sites, I have the site listed. If you know of other foods that you have that are about 20 grams of fat, feel free to post comments with them.
