I think olanzapine is a sexual suppressant that stops or dries up the sperm production or damages the sexual function of the body going by the effects it had on me. DO YOU HAVE A REMEDY? WHAT DRUG COULD OF CAUSED THIS DAMAGE?

Olanzapine - Sensitivity to olanzapine.
s drug metabolism is increased with fluvoxamine which could cause increased adverse effects regarding the olanzapine. Like you leg pain could be caused by extra restlessness caused by increased drug matabolism regarding the interaction with both drug or simple adverse reaction from olanzapine that can get worse by increased drug metabolism.
Both drugs cause similar side effects, but Olanzapine shows fewer motor function side effects than Resperidone in comaparative clinical trials. Both drugs have found to be equally safe on clinical trials. Both cause weight gain, but weight gain with Resperidone is lesser than that with Olanzapine. So once you start treatment, your doctor may adjust your prescription to a higher dose if the starting dose is not effective.
If you put into google floxetine and olanzapine side effects there is a part on skeletal problems it can cause. I take this medication for anxiety, pychosis and obessive complusive disorder predominately obsessions, I know, quite alot going on. Like you I have some strange experiences with and without these drugs, I feel like my mind is full of electricity.
Other side effects that are likely to occur are vomiting, diarrhea, increased palpitation, a rise in body temperature, increased heart rate, skin rashes etc.
If Frusemide (water tablets) they are used to remove excess fluid which builds up in the abdomen, or can obstruct breathing. Frusemide doesn't usually give obvious side effects (unless the dosage is overdone, in which case dehydration can occur) But dogs on this should have their potassium level and kidney function checked regularly.
They took me to psychiatrist that put me on olanzapine 10mg and kept me in the hospital for 10 days. Traumatic experience. Than after 2-3 months the doctor put me on 7mg, and now I'm on 5 mg olanzapine. It was harder to cope with rest of the world the first few mounts. I didn''t want to do the things I wanted, It was hard to cope with my previous social life, I felt like I have nothing to talk to my friends, like my brain is empty, like I'm brain washed.
Also they are difficult to come off , are harsh on your body,side effects, put you out of balance, weaken your system and etc. I feel horrible physically, but mentally I am stable than all past 3 years ago.

How can I change my diet for constipation? This may sound weird but soluble fiber like phsyillium husks makes me more constipated and have to strain more (my doc knows that too.
t be the medication tho I was taking NOTHING else but me and my GP saw those twitches and tremors alright! ) ..swapped to 1 x 5mg olanzapine for three weeks and now okay enough to Research, tremors decreased by 90% but packing on the weight despite regular exercise.With sedation I get my situation under control and my fears scuttle off far enough away for me to live outside of four walls...

Hi im desperatly in need to know of a good bipolar medication that doesnt make me gain weight, I was on olanzapine and I gained loads, then they put me on abilifyand I got 13 of the uncommon side effects, then they put me on sulpiride but they are similar to olanzapine,and all the time ive been on lamotrigine, but they dont seem to work as well on their own. At the mo ive stopped taking my meds and finding it hard, can anyone help please?
I am about to switch from olanzapine to seroquel. Is it ok to just stop taking olanzapine and start taking seroquel? I am on a very low dose of olanzapine.

Zyprexa (olanzapine) is an antipsychotic drug.
That group of drug if taken for a long time can cause sleep disturbances when You stop it suddenly. I have known people on this drug and similar medications in the same group that could not sleep after stopping this medication for a long time. As Your body is use to this medication and the Zyprexa has the effect of making You feel drowsy and in a daze Your body can become dependant on it given over a certain amount of time.
While I have not taken it, I know that a good deal of the antipsychotics out there, including olanzapine, can cause sedation. Antipsychotics can also be activating where they will cause insomnia if you take them before falling asleep. I'm sure there are people here who have taken it and experienced sedation.
because it apparently causes major cognitive side effects in a lot of people. And olanzapine is a huge weight gain causer in a lot of people. Maybe you should try a food and exercise diary to keep track of what you're eating and whether it changes. I think olanzapine (and other AAPs) can cause carb cravings, at least in some people.
