norvir

794091 tn?1264986339 What is your doctor thinking? Is this an HIV Specialist? Are you multi drug resistant? You say your combo is Combivir : which is AZT and 3TC Truvada : which is Viread and Emtriva (which is almost identical to 3TC and should not be taken together) Viread : which is already in the Truvada! Prezista : which is a PI that MUST be taken with Norvir which you aren't on!
Avatar f tn Hey, I agree 100% with both posts, checking with Gilead, and also, have you checked every resource for funding out there? I could not afford that amount once, never mind as a price increase. Have they lost their minds with greed? Even if you could go through Medicare Part D, once you payed the price in and out of the "doughnut hole", you would be in the "catastrophic" stage, and get most/all of it covered.
Avatar m tn The only side effects ill have in the soft stool from time to time, the tingling feeling in my hands and feet from the norvir this too is from time to time, they say the norvir also has gastro effects, I know when it will kill someone....lol.... As of last month my t-cells were 945. I have been positive for 5 years on meds for 4years...
Avatar n tn Initial counts were 423 viral load (not thousands - just 423) but T cell was 398. Immediately went undetectable. Put on Fortavase, Combivir, Norvir. Soon switched to just Fortavase 8 bid, combivir 1 bid. over time decreased to just 1 fortavase bid and 1 combivir bid. Been up in 700 - 900 T cell the whole time. No one can explain to me why numbers were odd to begin with. Also now that fortavase is off market my doc wants to switch me to Invirase, Combivir and Norvir.
2069183 tn?1331330038 Can this help to my health condition (increase count of CD4 or decrease viral load), or nothing can improve my health condition but hiv medication?
Avatar n tn I started taking PEP on august 4th. I take truvada norvir and reyataz. I went to get a rapid antibody hiv test today and was negative. Should I still be worried and stressed? I haven't slept much since this happened.
Avatar n tn I recently started the Norvir, Reyataz, Truvada combo. This is my first time taking "the meds" after being hiv + for 20 years. I have been on them for only 11 days. I have weird side effects: headaches, queasy stomach, and fatigue/weakness. I told my doctor, and he said, to "tough it out for another week, and he'll see if he needs to change the combination, or switch meds.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know what the price for copaxone will be effective January 2012? It's almost tripled in six years!
Avatar n tn I started PEP 2 hrs later (truvada, norvir, raltegravir, and preszita), my initial results are negative. I do not know the viral load of the patient yet, i can only pray that it is low. I know odds are 0.3% but that doesnt settle my fears, i am young and want to live a happy healthy life with KIDS! DR. please tell me if you have honstly heard of any cases like mine that have converted. I am in awe and feel like my life is totally over and ruined.
Avatar m tn Handsfield, I have started with antiretroviral therapy in April this year after my cd4+ further declined to 480 and viral load remained very high at 800,000 even after 6 months after exposure. I am currently on combination of Truvada, Prezista and Norvir which I take regularly every 24 hours. I feel much better than before meds, from time to time I have soar throat, nothing serious though. I didnt notice any significant side effects except temporary diarrhoea.
4529703 tn?1355961841 I was diagnosed with HIV in 2006, I was 26 years......I was at 129CD4 count.......When I started feeling sick I started treatment. I got all the way up to almost 500CD4 count....I was undetectable for 5 years until now docs were like wow! I went into the hospital back in Feb of this year for some kidney infection that the doctors was confounded about how I got and my CD4 was 2something and viral load 500+ AFTER 5 YEARS UNDETECTABLE!. Kidneys got clear & I left....
Avatar n tn I went to the doctor and they tested me. I was negative. They gave me some medicine called truvada norvir and reyataz. They told me to come back August 28. The woman also told me she was undetectable and said her viral load is extremely low. I went with her to her doctor and her doctor did confirm that. What are the chances I have it? I am very scared to death right now.
Avatar f tn Hi, Is anyone else having problems getting their Copaxone injections thru their insurance company? Typically, I call mine to re-order then they call me the next day to schedule it for overnight delivery. It's been over 2 wks since I ordered mine so I called to check on it. The rep at Cigna say the price has increase dramatically so they're either not for sure if they'll pay now or they're in talks with the Copaxone people. Are they giving me the run around or what?
Avatar n tn It's probably best if you call your doctor or pharmacist, grapefruit can increase the effects of some medications; but I don't know it the same is true for anit-biotics.
Avatar m tn 4 I have a compromised immune system and am on truvada, norvir, and reyataz. I have been walking and watching my intakes... I do have a sweet tooth sometimes but otherwise I eat pretty healthy. any ideas?
Avatar n tn i was also wondering if the anasthesia price is included in the surgery price, or if its separate. also, i would like to know generally what the costs are for ambulance rides, ER room visits, casting, (anasthesia), and the cost per day for hospital care. thank you so much!
Avatar f tn Luckily, I haven't experienced the price increase in my doxy since insurance covers it but its good to know about the fake meds. Scary too.
649848 tn?1534633700 m just wondering if everyone else is experiencing continuous price increases, as I am or if my pharmacy is taking me for a ride. I'd been paying $85 and change (all out of pocket) for my 3 month supply (actually 84 gelcaps) for quite a while (3-4 yrs, at least), but back in the fall, the price doubled, as I think most thyroid meds did, or at least they jumped up. I'd thought $85 was "enough", but wasn't horrible, so I didn't complain.
