626299 tn?1316707893 Vertex does have a copay help program which give a 20% copay help. After a 20% copay card from Verrtex, my out of pocket, roughly $14,000 for a 12 week treatment. 667078 tn?1316000935 Well I am again left hanging by Teva copay assistance. I went through being accepted to SS discount program never to have them come through. Then they suggested I apply for needs based through the Chronic Disease Fund in July they accepted me a day after I refilled even though I faxed in the paperwork asap. They would not honor it until my next three month refill in October. I sold my mother's gold necklace to pay the three hundred dollars.
5987625 tn?1377887866 Does anyone know about any financial assistance programs? I'm in Arizona. My neurologist wants me to take Tecfidera and just found out that I'm not eligible to get the $10 copay because I'm on MEDICARE. Been on SS disability since 1992 and have take four of the injectables for MS. Had to stop all of them because of side effects.

Avatar f tn I so know what you are going through! Our copayment is almost $600.00 and we too are in a holding pattern. I conatcted Roche's assistance program and got the application in the mail today but I am sorry to say I don't think they are going to be toohelpful for us at least. They seem to go off of the previous years tax work. Last year we werew in great shape and could of swung the meds.
1391695 tn?1298139789 That happened to me, and while I paid the first time out of pocket, the second treatment I went through the mfgr’s patient assistance program; they paid for 100% of both meds, with no copay or deductible to meet. Also, these drugs often require prior authorization; sometimes that can take a week or more to arrange. It’s not quite like filling a prescription for penicillin or something; it’s often a bit more involved.
Avatar f tn we dont qualify because he has insurance but with the copay its about 700 dollars just for the injection per month, that not including the pills
Avatar f tn aspx Astellas Pharma US offers a patient assistance program - the Astellas Access Program - to help eligible patients in need to access the company's medications at no cost. In 2008 alone, Astellas provided drug assistance to more than 11,000 uninsured and underinsured patients. 667078 tn?1316000935 I am so glad to hear that copay program worked out for you. I started writing a response to this program the other day but deleted it because i was being to negative and unhelpful with what I started to say. But the jest of it was exactly what you had already mentioned and that is the privacy issue. The wording on the application said I had to "agree" not to go off the medicine without my doctor's approval. And that approval had to be routed through them (SS).
Avatar m tn does anyone know of any copay assistance programs that would help with copayments .for my osteoarthritis?
Avatar m tn wow all this talk about out of pocket expences is frightening,i live in irelan and tx is funded by the state, everything else that i need is only 80 euros a month no matter how expencive it is.
Avatar m tn They helped me out tremendously and credited my bank card $2000 with their co-pay assistance program. I believe they said that they help up to $2500 (maybe a little less). Have you reached out-of-pocket on your insurance plan? I have and now the insurance company pays 100%. I don't know the type of insurance plan you have, but if you reach out-of-pocket, you shouldn't have to pay anymore. I reach out-of-pocket quickly with the Copaxone.
Avatar f tn Forgot to say I'm on Tecfidera...
645390 tn?1338555377 I cant afford the drug - the maximum shared solutions will give for copay assistance is $500 per month (which is alot of money but it still leaves me with a monthly cost of over $1300 - and that's just for copaxone!
Avatar f tn I'm on tecfidera and am on Biogen's copay assistance. I don't pay more than 10 for each refill. It was very very easy to join the copay assistance for me...
721523 tn?1331581802 I was approved today for hte co-pay assistance program!!! That is a saveings of $200/mo!!! That really adds up in a year!
1057395 tn?1254367428 if you’re refused for some reason, call the mfgr’s patient assistance program and tell them what happened; most likely, they’ll cover the cost of therapy for you.
Avatar n tn Shared Solutions has two programs. One is a financial assistance program that helps you with the cost of your copay - for example, my copay was $90, and they helped me out with $40 of it. When I had problems affording the $50, I talked to my neurologist, who helped me with a complete financial assistance program that would allow me to get it for free. However, Aetna is a complicated mess.
