norvasc light headed

I am no expert you may want to also ask on the Doctor Forum, I know you can get light headed and dizzy if you have low blood sugar ,my other thought is could it be the blood pressure Med, my brother takes blood pressure meds and he says he is often light headed and dizzy, ask the Doctor maybe the dose has to be adjusted ..

I am getting confused over this now. I went to my pharmacy yesterday who said he would gladly check my blood pressure. I sat in a chair relaxed for 15 mins, and he then took 3 readings which were.... 135/102...136/98....134/104 As you can see, my systolic is fine, but the diastolic is a nightmare. All the blood pressure meds I take obviously lower both the diastolic and systolic, and they make me light headed by the time the diastolic drops enough.

How far along are you? I know low iron can cause you to get light headed. Also I think maybe low blood pressure can have that result too but not positive.

I have been getting dizzy before I would fall asleep at night. That would happen once a month at best for the last 4 years, thought nothing of it. Since then I have been to the ER 3 times do to waking up in the middle of the night feeling dizzy and anxious? My doctor had me go and get a scope done of my esophigous and found I had GERD(Esophigitis). They gave me a steroid called Flovent to take for 6 weeks, and also my MD had proscribed me Prilosec 20mg 2x a day.

Light-headedness can have many causes. Most commonly I think it has to do with blood pressure and/or heart rate. It could also be low blood sugar. You should see your doctor for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.

i have been feeling light headed and real dizzy for the last few months.
