I started a new birth control in December and I noticed that I am getting these red blotches and bumps on my neck and arms. Could this be a side effect of it?

I'm on CD 88. Took Provera and did not have bleeding or spotting within 10 days after. Did blood work and it showed FSH: 6, LH: 1, TSH: 2.54. I did temping and OPKs and I'm pretty sure I did not ovulate. Before that I was on BCP (0.035 ethinyl estradiol & 0.25 norgestimate) and had very regular periods. What next? Clomid to stimulate ovulation? Clomid followed by estrogen? BCP to reset the cycle?

I used to take tri-lo-sprintec tablet generic for (ortho tri-cyclen LO) for the past 6 six years, but in Michigan we do not have it in generic form anymore. Therefore this month i started taking Eth estradi/norgestimate and I feel very lazy and sleepy all the time and I see that I have been gaining weight. My question is is what I am taking now the same as what I was taking before because that is what the pharmacy told me?

I'd wait. Sure you could have gotten pregnant but the pills make your period odd the first month. Technically it is supposed to start the week of placebos but mine always started around the first day of the missed pack. You can always test but I'd wait two weeks from the sex to test (as it typically takes two weeks from conception in order to show up on test) and you should get your period between there.

Hellojennilei , how r u doing today ? yeah i will say yes what u thinking ,that pills definately doesn't suit on u coz these pills hv some heavy and some low pressure ,may be u didn't tolrate heavy one ,so take low pressure pills. i am also taking low pressure pills. coz my doctor suggest me this pills.i can give u the name of my pills . i started these pills from this month again.it is good and not irriteted .

If you are having recalcitrant acne in women then probably oral contraceptive containing norgestimate 0.25 mg and ethinyl estradiol 0.035 mg; spironolactone; prednisone. m eighteen and recently got my wisdom teeth taken out so I had to take anti-biotics for a week and the doctor told me if would interfere with my oral contraceptives, Sprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol tablets, 0.250 mg/0.035 mg). I got the antibiotics at the same time as I started my new pack of birth control and took them both for the first week of my cycle, and I used protection until the next week when my antibiotics ran out (because, of course, things happen).

ve had two miscarriages my first was at 20 weeks and my second I was about 7 weeks I was told I miscarried the second due to left over tissue so this time around I got put on progesterone I don't know too much about it but does it actually help?

I called the doctor 2 days ago to schedule the appointment after many bfp, asked the girl making my appointment if I should be taking progesterone as I did with my last pregnancy, she's 6 months now, and when I miscarried in 2013. My levels have never been super low just a few numbers under where doctor would have like. So should I need progesterone again or no?

Just waited on an approval from a company who is providing it. If not I have to pay for the vaginal progesterone out my pocket because doctor says no insurance company covers them.

Just got put on progesterone tonight to stop labor. In a weeks time I'm 54% effaced at 23 weeks. Baby boys head is sitting up against my cervix. I have to insert it vaginally. So I posted a few days ago about my cervix being long and all.. I misunderstood her she said my cervix is very short for 30 weeks its supposed to be a 3-4 and its only 1.5? Well the good news is they sent me to hospital for stress test and checked me and I am not dialated but I am 50 percent effaced and was having contractions at the time.

Is it my progesterone supplement making me nauseous or the actual pregnancy. I dont know how to distinguish it. I heard it can make I have symptoms and mask a miscarriage.

I wanted to get other opinions on this... I saw the doctor today and he just took my urine again and listened for baby on the doppler. He found a heart beat. He said since I have miscarried before (3 years ago) that I should start progesterone pills every night. Once I start them, I can't stop taking them until 35 weeks. He said it won't hurt anything but help IF my levels are low and he won't know if my levels are low until my next appt which is 2 weeks from today.

Not enough information. Did he do a blood test for progesterone? Waht was the number? My doc had me on progesterone suppositories "just in case" but had me stop by ten weeks (the placenta takes over and progesterone is not as critical after 10-12 weeks). How far along were you when you MC the first time?

t hurt to take progesterone, whether or not the doctor tested your levels. Did he know that low progesterone was the problem in the past? Maybe that is why he didn't test. (Are you certain no test was done?) Anyway, ask him to test your levels the next time you are in, but take the progesterone in the meantime. If you need it, it will help, but more importantly, it won't hurt even if you didn't need it.

Anyone have to take the progesterone lozenges for low progesterone??? I had a m/c in November. This time I found out I was pregnant early and Dr did a progesterone level and I was low. Have to take lozenges 100mg twice a day. Anyone else have this issue??
