She ordered lots of blood work and a thyroid sonogram. The blood work came back indicating I needed to have a MRI of pituitary gland with and without contrast, but she wanted me to check with insurance on it first. My insurance only covers it if the $2000 deductible has been met first!!!! So, I have to pay out of pocket pricing which will likely be better than help from insurance knocking the price down for them being "in network".

Ok, as most of you know, I am not Dx'ed with anything, so what's going on, I have no idea. That being said, whew, I believe I have over done it. Work is very demanding, after about a year and of half of a very bad slow down, and out of no where I am working like crazy lately. This heat, the stress (both physical and mental), the long hours, I think have taken it's toll.

I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!

I wish I had time to swim between work and school I have no time to think. But i give all the ladies credit who carried and still are carrying through this heat. I am not far along like most of you ladies, but I can only imagine what its like.

I feel exactly the same way you do.. I'm 37+2. I don't want to do anything but lay in bed. All the pains are horrible. I couldn't walk the other day due to back pain. I want her out but then I think the longer she's in there the healthier shell be. I have a 4 yr old son and I'm at a pizza arcade place right now but ugh I have no energy. LOL. Not to much longer.

My husband (and I, up until recently before I went for maternity leave) work very hard and pay our hard earned money for this doctor and takes unpaid time off work to be there... I think it is disrespectful of this couple of this couple to go on and on when there is a room filled with people waiting (them being on time for their appointments!) and partly our doctor to not push harder to keep their appointment times. Oh well. It is in the past now...

I've had a huge worsening of the trigeminal neuralgia and occipital neuralgia (zaps and pain in the back of my head and scalp). At times it's just been a continuous series of zaps, they don't last too long, but there will be one after another for 10-15 minutes (or maybe it just seems that long). Then there's the pain in my teeth and jaw, behind my eye, and *ohhh* did I mention the back of my head??? Each "zap" feels like I fell and cracked my head on the cement!

A small focus of increased signal in the right frontoparietal region is detected on FLAIR. Patient has a history of Renal Carcinoma. The MRI was ordered as a result of patient complaining of facial paralysis, Headache, and some visual problems. Would follow up MRIs at a later time, be adequate to Rule out metastasis to the brain from the Renal Carcinoma, What would be the most prudent approach to this patient?

Okay, so I work full time and I can't lose my job. However I struggle with concentrating and memory. I forget to do things often and very suddenly. I can tellt his really annoys my co-worker who does not know about my bipolar. This co-worker is above me in importance, not a boss but sort of a supervisor. I don't really want her to know about my bipolar, but I also don't want her to go stomping off to my actual boss complaining.

So me and my baby's father had an argument because i didn't go to work last night. He said that i should've went because i have a baby on the way which idk why he's worried about the baby now because he hasn't been too excited about her anyway. And i feel like i should've went after i called off i regretted it because i do have a baby on the way. But I'm 7 months in and last night my body was sooo tired. I don't miss work too many times. I go to work everyday.

I recently got blood work done. I had been complaining of fatigue, brain fog, and most notably, hair thinning and shedding. Free T4: 1.16 (ng/dl) T 3 Total: 1.25 (ng/dl) TSH: 4.92(miu/ml) Free testosterone: 13.5(pg/ml) Testosterone Total : 283(ng/dl) range (249-836) My doctor noted mildly elevated levels of TSH and so prescribed synthroid 25mcg daily and to recheck levels in 3 months.

Has anyone done any ct scan, mri, or ultrasounds of the neck area? Any blood work done to rule out infection (blood work will not always show infection). It could be lymph nodes, salivary glands. Does it hurt when you eat? Dry mouth? Have you ever had oral thrush? Dont read to much into it until you see the ENT.

I feel ya! I got 119 to go, I feel the same way. I was finally getting my weight down about three years ago when in found out pregnant with son. I gained 45 with him an never lost it. So I'm even more overweight now then I was with him. I feel so uncomfortable in anything, ugly all the time, I don't want to see people, always moody, lazy as hell. I haven't gained much so far this go around but I'm sure it'll happen before times up.

I reply 'yes, you have. she's Dominick Dunne's sister in law and I told you about her when I read her book.....' then almost said "...and she has MS' when I caught myself.

I noticed i have no patience for anyone, the smallest thing gets me upset or anoyed. I hate this but i just cant help it. I try to be calm and understanding but most of the time doesn't work. Anyone else become the hulk while pregnant?

I have had pain since Friday (it's Sunday am now) weird sharp abdo pain that radiates to my back, my obstertrician said it's growing pains, I also had pain in my groin... I was worried I was in early labour or something so it's reassuring to know everyone is feeling the same at this stage... I'm exhausted and just want to leave work now (I work nights and was going to try get to 35 wks, at this rate I'll be lucky to get to 30!

Just had a work physicial completed and they sent me full results of all blood work.... I had a couple of abnormalities but they seem close to the limits.... My Basophil was 1.4 when the normal range is 0.0-1.0 My MCH was high 31.9 when the normal range is 27.0-31.2 My MPV was low 7.3 when normal range is 7.4-10.
