Common Questions and Answers about No complaining rule book review

complaining

Avatar f tn I review this book with a bit of caution. I do believe that diet and nutrition are very important, and the author's personal experience is one of total healing after following a detox/dietary plan as well as looking at emotional issues, etc. HOWEVER, I personally am a Christian and i cannot recommend her venture into the new age spiritual mysticism aspect.
Avatar f tn I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!
382218 tn?1341181487 Hey thanks for the support, Guys! I'm encouraged that some of you will join me. I nearly broke my own rule last night on the very first day of my complaining fast. "Joan Didion" was an answer on Jeopardy, which I got right. Husband says 'never heard of her.' I reply 'yes, you have. she's Dominick Dunne's sister in law and I told you about her when I read her book.....' then almost said "...and she has MS' when I caught myself.
Avatar f tn I feel exactly the same way you do.. I'm 37+2. I don't want to do anything but lay in bed. All the pains are horrible. I couldn't walk the other day due to back pain. I want her out but then I think the longer she's in there the healthier shell be. I have a 4 yr old son and I'm at a pizza arcade place right now but ugh I have no energy. LOL. Not to much longer.
Avatar m tn My grandmother is complaining of these symptoms for about 6 mo. now. She just has what I call a "sinking spell" with extreme weakness and lethargy. She too has trouble remembering things but only during the "spell". She also says "she doesn't feel right in her head" I thought she was having TIA's but they said no when she was admitted to the hospital in Jan and did every test in the book and could not find anything at all!
887689 tn?1247893057 on US lump is shown but not on mammo. doc thinks it may be something because he saw a shadow but lab said review in 6 months ( lump location for lab review was at the wrong location so doc is going to do the US himself in one month. has anyone experiance this and should i wait a month to see my doc.
Avatar m tn It seems to rewrite the rule book every chance it gets, I have a lot of sensory issues, but only some limited motor issues with spasticity. The sensory issues I do have are whoppers though: Optic Neuritis, Trigeminal Neuralgia, burning left arm and both feet. None of those on there own say MS to any doctor. Those with one lesion 6 months ago and 4 new ones last month changes things.
547836 tn?1302832832 I would like to know if anyone has any great book recommendations to share? We can all benefit from reading, and it's practically free if you have a library near you. Here is my list: Past Reading: - Man's Search For Meaning (Frankl) - Excellent excellent book, opened my eyes to reality and inspired me to take on a more positive attitude. Man is ultimately self-determining. Method: logotherapy.
1831846 tn?1318378596 on the 18th of this month, where I will be demanding an MRI and referral to a specialist. But the CT scan states no evidence of intracranial hemorrhage, ventricular system is normal in size and configuration, withough evidence of hydrocephalus. No discrete parenchymal masses nor evidence of mass effect. There is a slight inferior displacement of the cerebellar tonsils, suggesting a mild chiari 1 malformation. No extra-axial blood or fluid collections are identified.
427382 tn?1298209586 I would reccomend it to all. We have been through a lot of it already, but the book gives the truth about everything from the beggining till labor. It is hilarious too. I also just got baby laughs from the library so I will keep you posted on that, it is the same type of book but of babies 1st year and all the truths no one told you behind it.
Avatar f tn At one point, lasting and 2 weeks, it even looked and felt as if when a baby kicks (no, I am not pregnant)! What could this be? No doctor seems to give it a diagnosis, but did a few tests, and then more or less just forget about it. They don't say it isn't anything, they just don't know, and that's it. Well, I feel it every day, so it isn't just something I want to forget about. Could it be cancer, in the early stages, that won't be addressed until it is too late?
Avatar f tn However if the pain is severe or continues with the same severity, it is advised to seek a review with your treating doctor, to rule out possible secondary complications. Hope this is helpful. Take care!
Avatar f tn no one on this forum is a doctor. we can just give you advice.. if you took 2 pregnancy tests and a blood test, it is almost certain you are not pregnant. if you still do not start your period in the next few weeks, go back to your doctor so that they can rule out any medical problems. if you are TTC you may have to get on medicine to regulate your cycles and help you ovulate.
Avatar f tn I wish I had time to swim between work and school I have no time to think. But i give all the ladies credit who carried and still are carrying through this heat. I am not far along like most of you ladies, but I can only imagine what its like.
1216899 tn?1288570325 Ok, as most of you know, I am not Dx'ed with anything, so what's going on, I have no idea. That being said, whew, I believe I have over done it. Work is very demanding, after about a year and of half of a very bad slow down, and out of no where I am working like crazy lately. This heat, the stress (both physical and mental), the long hours, I think have taken it's toll.
3453160 tn?1398019442 Read the review of the book. It seemed like a pretty sensible book since it attempted to break down why one would have weight problems and then how to deal with that specific cause - instead of the traditional one diet fits all approach. As to the link with ADHD. Many with ADHD are very lean because they are so active. However, due to jobs or job focus, meds, spontaneity, anxiety, depression, etc. I can certainly see how weight management could be a problem.
219241 tn?1413537765 No info, no mention of side effects, no worries, no brains! I am SUPER sensitive to most drugs and mentioned this to her but she said, You'll be alright. No stay in hospital to test me out. I have had trips to hospital in an ambulance due to past drug sensitivities after only 2 tablets! She glossed over that totally. Grrrrr. Took one this morning and found my heart was probably racing and flittery more so than normal.
Avatar f tn Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson This award-winning bestseller is “flawlessly written” (New York Times Book Review). When a local fisherman mysteriously drowns, Ishmael struggles to balance his need for justice with his feelings for the accused man’s wife.
