Avatar f tn Oops 9 tabs 0.5 mg =4.5 mg not 4.25.My math is off a little. It would have been 17 tabs 0.25mg.Either way that is a lot of xanax at once and to mix it with alcohol could be deadly.
Avatar m tn I`ve heard so much about Stress Tabs and was wondering if they help ? If not what would help ?
12250128 tn?1433256723 A few years ago I was taken to the ER for just the Pressure in the chest and trouble breathing. Both times at the ER they told me "acid reflux" which I have had ruled out by a specialist. I was diagnosed with MS in January. This is described to me as Spasms around the Esophagus. The doctor has given me "nitro tabs" he said that it should help with the pain until the spasms go away. Just had another one this morning. Was able to breath through it without taking anything.
Avatar f tn Yep, its miserable. The first bad cold i got at 28 weeks, i went to er and was refused treatment. Go get some robitussin, must be the plain kind. Or Mucinex. Both work really good. If it doesn't get better within a few days, go to family dr and they can give you some meds. My dr gave me Z-pak tabs and sudafed.
Avatar m tn I am currently taking a total of 1350mg of Lithium. Two 450mg ER tabs nightly. One 450mg ER tab in the morning. I started taking Lithium on 27Aug2009 first dose was 600mg ER next night upped to 900mg ER, and about two weeks ago was upped to the 1350mg as stated above. Please look at all my other meds I currently take, in my profile that's a little about myself. Do you think there are any interactions??? Thanks, Scott!
Avatar f tn Has anyone had issues with withdrawal symptoms coming on suddenly? I know the Opana ER doesn't last 12 hours (even my doc warned me this was the case) but this latest batch of opana seems to poop out & give me old sweats about 4 hours after taking it. I've been on Opana ER, 20 mg 2x/day for a couple of months. It's my 2nd experience with long-acting opioids (1st was Oxycontin MS, quit after 10 days due to gluten issues).
Avatar f tn The problem I have is that before when I was taking 100 mg Ultram ER twice a day with the methadone as listed above my pain was controled, but since I have tried going down on it I have pain all the time again. I was wondering if there was any other long acting medication out there that works simular to the Ultram ER?
Avatar f tn I was in ER with the same this can be caused by low magnesium level was given 2 doses of mag IV till level returned to normal. It was so bad I had to go by ambulance .I was seen by others MDS for this with no answer.it normally has not been so bad.aHave your mag level checked blood work.I now take mag tabs 2 times day.
Avatar f tn ve been having some terrible neck issues and pain and even ended up in the ER on Friday August 22. They prescribed me to be on flexiril and hydrochodone/Tylenol tabs. Should I be worried about the muscle relaxer and pain med mix slowing my baby's heart rate?
Avatar f tn Not really. I've had constant pains since about 6 weeks. I'm 19+5 right now. My ob is just keeping tabs and said if they get bad enough where I cant move to call in and go to the er. That's the closest I know to what you are dealing with. I find myself thinking of it as a chronic pain. Some days are good and I feel almost normal and function as such while other, I can seem to do nothing but lay on the couch or in bed. Hopefully someone can answer with a better answer. Good luck.
1676272 tn?1307298254 He has had many hospital stays, and many more er visits, lots of tests and they all come up negative...Currently he is on Depakote, and Toprol 2x daily..He has Zofran tabs and Imitrex pens for when he is having the migraine...Sometimes the home medications work, but we usually end up in the er where they give him a big dose of Thorazine and some Benadryl to knock him out. I pick him up 6-8 hours later, I care for him at home till it passes, and we wait for the next one...

Avatar f tn Intensityand area fluctuates. I have even had some spotting. When that happened, then I ended up in er and baby was healthy. Just watch it and keep tabs and notify your doc.
Avatar f tn First day without the Lortab she was back in the ER with severe pain. She was given in the ER another 4mg Morphine with no relief and the 2 mg Dilaudid IV and went home crying in pain. Over night that night she was getting 4mg Diluadid basically every 2 hours Still wide awake crying in pain. She was admitted back to the hospital the next morning for pain control. Which she has gotten none. They have her on Oral Ativan 1mg twice a day, Toradol every 6 hours, and Dilaudid 2mg every 4 hours.
Avatar n tn I went up to m GP about a month ago and was prescribed many tabs including anti spasmic tabs, but they didn't seem to help. I noticed that I was peeing a lot and sweating alot. A little over a week ago the pain became worse and I went to the A&E here I got blood and urine tests. The doc thought I may have a kidney stone so sent me for a CT scan. The CT scan came back clear, but my WCC was high and also had blood and leck in my urine so was prescribed strong anti biotics.
Avatar n tn I am a Registered Nurse, currently working in the ER. I am the mother of 2 young children and have a husband. I have recently quit smoking and have a very Type A personality. I am training for a half marathon. I have, just this week been diagnosed with a mild case of Shingles. A friend told me I was in Adrenal Fatigue? My question is, is there any connection between adrenal fatigue and shingles. I would love a response.
Avatar f tn midge ,try to stay on one thread when you post or it get very confusing for people to follow your story.if you look down you will see where it says " post comment" click on that to post your comments.. Are you taking to 200mg er pills or are you taking 50mgs at a time your best best will be a slow taper off it ...
Avatar n tn Hi..... I do recall having horrod headaches post op and was advised to stay on med schedule since once the pain comes it is hard to medicate after with effectiveness.....so to keep ahead stay on schedule. Also, use heat once swelling is down to loosen up the tight muscles....and do exercises given to help keep them loose....heat again after exercise is done.
