nexium

Avatar f tn I recently went to my drs office and mentioned that I was feeling nauseated again at 36 weeks. He stated that it's due to indigestion and I brought up how I used to be on an acid reflux medicine called protonix before getting pregnant but discontinued use of it after finding out. I've been feeling horrible but I'm iffy about taking it. anyone ever taken nexium during pregnancy?

Avatar n tn My mother suffered severely from Gastric Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (LPR) for 5 years, gastritis for 25 years (worsened on nexium) and polyps (unknown time); polyps cut out. Was on and off tagament for 20 years; nexium for 5 years. Side effects were numerous and life threatening. The drugs were not working well and eventually not at all.

Avatar f tn My 48y old husband started having what Looks like mild spasms during sleep, he doesn’t feel them, he only says that he’s been dreaming weird things. He is very stressed / several years because of work, he is under Lexapro and also under exams because gastro trouble, dr said probably gastritis or gerd. He used to hiccup a lot, but now seems that the hiccups stopped and these spasms started...coincidence or the spasms changed places? Sorry anout my english.
Avatar f tn The dr yesterday put me on nexium for 5 days then will start 30 mg of prevacid which has not helped in the past. I really appreciate any suggestions as I really do not care to have a 4th stay in the hospital this year. Thanks...
Avatar n tn I have suffered from GERD for several years now. I was put on Nexium (40mg) by my MD, which totally cleared up the problem. She then scheduled an endoscopy (I'm not sure how long I was on the Nexium before this, perhaps 6 months?) which came back clear. The doctor who performed the endo said my esophagus was totally healed and I could stop taking the Nexium. I did and my symptoms returned within a few days. I tried ranitidine - no help.
